what i said was referring to the scenario of the reality of stock market when it was traded at cheap price and then shoot up >100%, then 200% and the next couple years become a penny stock, those bought at crisis time would benefit but those buy later will face the consequences, and the one who benefited would be small portion compare to those bearing losses

the one who can survive stock market is those who has money power, not those use hard earn saving/salary to trade, the latter eventually will be gone and shy away from market

i intend to be an investor when started trading but the reality market not really for that, its just a place for the super rich to take money from the common traders in a legal way

those who has money always looking around for a stock than can be manipulated when opportunity comes, the buy and sell will be well planned and calculated mathematically use computerised tools to create patterns and strategies to overtaking one another

fundamental does apply but not all the times, trends and patterns ie volume & chart has bigger effect than fundamental practices, where suits the normal behaviour of human that always crave for big profit in short period

if stock market really an investment tool, we should see many people makes money than losing, i yet to see that

dropping after ex-date will happen in most cases as its a sell on news method, operates by those who have big position earlier to trap new trader buying at higher price

yes im neutral too, its a small well which petronas awarded uzma jv enquest to venture in e&p and they will be paid for work done

osv player not depends on oil price, its the charter rate and utilisation based on given contract

mmc major businesses are conventional, has been overshadowed by the hype of tech, IT, o&g recovery and the rest

when covid comes, many business cannot sustain profit, mmc has surface as defensive stock

most margin will be abt 1.5% + BR p.a. if BR is 5%, means interest to serve is 6.5% to be charged on monthly basis (like credit card)

you need to ensure the stock you pick be able to generate money to cover margin cost, otherwise wasted

another lesson to learn, dont use loan money or margin or whatever type of borrowings to trade as beginner, very risky
