MrSslee, I have a bad feeling that the market will have a severe correction in mid-March.

Insas is so deeply undervalued, every quarter announces good EPS, has over one billion ringgit free cash, got moats(?) , got mosquitoes breeding in the moats. One day Insas will surely reach 60 ringgit ...... one day our dream will come ...... one day ...... one day when?

Those still holding Insas, don't panic. Insas remains deeply undervalued. Still no news of Tong selling.

On CNY eve Insas closed at 1.22. On second day of CNY 3 people heavily promoted Insas although stock market was closed. CNY also these people got no life.

I already sold 97% of my Insas last month when it moved from below 90 sen to above RM1.30. Only bank I like now is BIMB.

@Yippy68, I feel you are too heavily concentrated in MBSB. Your recent venturing into Affin has brought you financial rewards. Affin share price ran ahead because it is more superior to MBSB. Similarly, Bank Islam share price has also recently run ahead.

@Yippy68, EPS is more relevant than high DPS because high DPS isn't sustainable if EPS drops. MBSB doesn't appear to have the all round strength of other banks. Just rebranding itself as an Islamic bank doesn't transform it overnight to rival Bank Islam which is long established.

Insas QR out, as usual no dividend.

To a person who holds zero cost portion selling 100,000 shares of Insas at average price of say, RM1.18 means a profit of around RM118,000.

Eventually one day people who holds zero cost portion of Insas will get tired seeing that Insas share price is flattish. Then one by one start selling resulting in a waterfall.

Insas could pay out quarterly dividends but unfortunately refuses to do so.

Insas manipulates its EPS by selectively selling down Inari shares.

Every time Insas break through RM1 the retailers declare that Insas has move out of its "value trap" but ....... eventually the price drift down and go below RM1 not once, not twice, but thrice in the past ten years or so.

Always set aside some cash so that when deeply undervalued shares drop to ridiculous price level we could buy.

The market is reacting positively to the departure of 3 key LTAT personnel.

New Defense Minister is not happy with the proposed sale, maybe he doesn't want to sell 25% but less or maybe he thinks Sarawak is shortchanging LTAT at RM2.40 and is demanding a higher price.

During CNY I met Quek and asked him if he were going to make a hostile takeover of Affin, he laughed and laughed and laughed.

EPF sells Affin to re-balance their bank shares portfolio, moving out of Affin into Bank Islam as EPF funds are now segregated into Shariah and Conventional. More EPF account holders are opting for Shariah.

LTAT is very broke and without selling a block of Affin it would default on Boustead Holdings huge loans.

Sarawak doesn't buy from the open market because they are cheapskate, they want to buy cheaply off the hands of LTAT who desperately need to raise cash because they got trapped into doing a takeover of Boustead Plantation.

A value trap is an undervalued share that never reaches its true value and forever trades far, far below its true value like ...... Insas but that doesn't mean you can't make tons of profits from it. In fact I already made four fold from my original investment in the past 10 years or so. Always buy near the bottom and sell near the top and you will never get trapped. So simple.

Sarawak is paying RM2.40 based on leaked documents.

Many moons ago, Ah Tong bought Insas at 80 sen, many contrarians followed, speakup followed. Last month Insas reached 1.34/1.35, Ah Tong didn't take profit, don't be like Ah Tong, Ah Tong instead bought Insas-WC at 42 sen.

Last month Ah Tong bought 134,000 Insas-WC at 0.42. Friday Insas-WC closed at 38 sen. Don't be like Ah Tong, buy high, now RM56k stuck.
