Looks like its being pushed down or sold desperately. Noticed a few times the sell queue was bypassed lower (e.g. last sell queue @6.19 then a few hundered lots were sold @6.17 instead of queing @6.18).

Other stocks have been moving up quite a lot since yesterday. But this one dropped n today very turtlish trying to go up. Whats wrong? I thought tis is a fundamentally good company?

Almost all counters have been dropping.. oil prices downward.. world market sentiments not good.. etc. But for Mbsb.. at least we know the price ady.

Do realise.. whatever it is.. the offer price is still 2.82 for Mbsb and there also a high probability of dividend (maybe special) in the quarterly results soon.

Its ady announced and confirmed that Mbsb's offered price is 2.82. Whether DJ +500 or -500, the price remains. The uncertainty is the dividend in the coming quarter results.

So far, every quarter has dividend.. maybe the coming one "special"?

Maybank just gave it a TP of 2.82.. the offered price. After all the profit taking cleared, the price should hover around 2.82. Hope for special dividend too later.

Oil prices.. if drop also will not be for long.. surely it will go back up and it will get pricier as time goes by. Its not an infinite commodity and its being consumed as long as internal combustion engines exist. And the people behind it are not "small time" tom dick and harry.

Good buy there golden. If drop further also can still hold for a long term. This is not a speculative company with billions in order book intact for quite some time.

Then why the hell with this fuel price hike?

Hmm.. O&G sector should be neutral to the recent fuel price hike.. what happened? Looks similar to the trend in June and August recently.. except this time the drop was very drastic..

Ya.. can feel that. Any counters held by EPF will have this problem. EPF is a main syndicate that push down and buy low and push up and sell high as and when they feel like doing it. How the company is doing is not the ultimate matter to them. People will say good for EPF to make money.. but at the expense of the small retail investors..
