Current Year Prospect..
1) The Group anticipates a positive growth momentum going into the second half of 2018 deriving mainly from the 3D sensing test equipment for the smartphone devices segment as well as automation solutions for the automotive segment.

2) Following the commencement of operations of the new production plant in June 2018, the Group expects higher volume of project delivery involving large-scale factory automation lines such as our i-ARMS solutions in the second half of the year.

The research house said that together with the company’s core competencies in vision inspection technology, it expected Vitrox to drive “a strong net profit compounded annual growth rate of 31% from 2017-2020.”

The research house said it expects the group’s 2H18 performance to be much stronger in the second half as floor space constraints ease following ViTrox’s move into Campus 2.0.

“ViTrox was able to breach the RM100mil-level in its quarterly revenue sooner than we thought, likely due to strong telco infrastructure demand for its ABI products, ahead of 5G network adoption.

“Persistent hit above this level would be symbolic and could potentially unlock another level of operational scale, translating to higher profitability,” it said.

I think someone is trying to press down stock prices to fear retailers in the US before those big ass US companies(aapl, amzn, baba, goog, nvda) post yet another record earnings this end-Oct. Very common operator tactic.

No one can be 100% sure what the market happens tomorrow. Remember 911? Only guess it with best estimates. And try to be calm to know which event is fake or real...because 'market always rebounds'.

Scared one already left; Not scared one remain; Outside scared one don't dare to go in; Outside not scared one will go in. So in the end what happens??

Too panic already. Just because US raising rates. If the company's product still in hot trend, earnings will continue to go up. Don't worry. Obviously many didn't experience the likes of oil price crash, 911 or 98/08 financial crisis before. Rates rise compared to this are peanuts.

Aiya actually OSAT(Inari) and ATE(Vitrox) companies in Malaysia not really doing business in Malaysia one. They depend a lot on the US economy. As long as US & China continues coming up with new electronic products, OSAT and ATE's business will continue to flourish one. If Malaysia really recession, these tech stocks and multinational companies(Pmetal, Topglov) won't really be affected one. Maybe you need to watch out the exchange rate. Of course if Malaysia infrastructure projects really came to a halt for long period, every business sector will stop developing.
