I understood your point, but the point is the assets.. what kind of assets is 1MDB having? Power plants? land? or some units shit that Arul has admitted he is not even sure it existed? you see...the 800k housing loan for an abandoned house in Port Dickson or Bukit Beruntung doesn't bear any good for clearing my debts even though it is considered an "asset". So we need to know if 1MDB's assets are quality assets that can be liquidated with good price to pare down all the debts. If not, it is useless having these assets. it's like me having 1000 houses in Bukit Beruntung doesn't actually make me feel rich... when the actual value of the houses are only 8000 each lol.

by the way, assets remains paper wealth unless there is a willing buyer to acquire all the assets. That is if all assets can be sold at the desired value of 50 billions. You have 30 properties worth 35 million doesn't mean anything if you don't liquidate all of them tomorrow and you are still owing the bank 20 million in loans. it's not the matter of short term or long-term debts my friend. it's what they do with the debts lah brother! USA's debt is almost 19.9 over trillion, but their GDP is more than enough to cover it. Nobody is against the notion of raising debt, get the point through. Net profit is also on a constant double digit in MYR millions. Their products are exported to markets like EU, and USA... have factories (huge ones) in Vietnam, low cost , high USD profits!
