Agree with startup business that may need years to get back ROI. As for the contact lens business, Supermax actually bought it and get the operation and distribution running via its existing distribution network / supply chain. The only near term catalyst for FGV is government willing to raise sugar ceiling price. Raw sugar price has increased 40-50% and MSM is requesting for a 20-30% price increase.

CPO price now is rm2900++. However based on the report, FGV average selling price was rm2400++. That's y. They yet to sell CPO above RM2600 although Q2 and Q3 average price for CPO was around rm2600 based on MPOC website. There could be 2 quarters lag on their selling price. Could be bound by hedging perhaps. I have no idea

Junichiro, I didnt notice your post as there are just too many post here in FGV. However, for the last 2 weeks, the price bounced back from 1.82 and hover above 1.90. How to apply your corrective waves down then? Besides, these two days drop was cause by the q3 results and fraud case and not due to technical correction.

Investo, you forgot to add that FGV bounced back to 1.94 -1.97 on 3rd Nov 2016 from 1.82 on 2nd Nov. I did not mislead ppl. Next it stayed around that range for almost 2 weeks b4 the weak results. That, no one has any idea except for the FGV management and BOD. Even FGV CEO keeps saying that FGV would post better results. You go and shoot him lah instead.

Sell, yes they can but not within these few years. Besides, how cheap more can they manufactured it and bear in mind that they have to start from ground zero. How many years need to to build such capacity and gain back the ROI? By importing Rubber, they would instill additional logistic cost. I dont think US can produce gloves cheaper than countries like Malaysia and Thailand.

Not even 1 lot (1000 units). Some ppl out there are monitoring the price closely and pushing it down. Could be due to warrant expiry on 30th Nov 2016. Last day of trading is 25th Nov 5pm. Hence, if they really intended to control the price, such scenario could continue until the expiry date.

To attend AGM, u need to have Supermax shares by certain cut off date. If no shares, you can't attend unless appointed as proxy for someone else. Merck, don't ask someone who don't own Supermax shares to attend lah.
