With these, the revenue for Jaya Tiasa, with no doubt, should be higher. However, what is the impact of the cost especially due to increase of minimum wage in effect from 1st July 2016? And if we look into the last quarter result, Jaya Tiasa happens to pay a high tax which cause their net profit to be much lower from its PBT.

My question is whether the cost will be much higher and reduce their margin? In addition, is Jaya Tiasa going to pay higher tax again due to higher deferred tax and income tax payables?

And one thing to point out is why Jaya Tiasa invested RM70 million in RSawit back in October 2015? Should I be aiming at RSawit instead of Jaya Tiasa? Things to ponder.

Oil has been hovered between USD40 - USD50. EPF has been selling even before that. The 4% decline is due to the coming OPEC meeting. Prices always seem to be volatile when such got such 'BIG' meeting. Traders are speculating that nothing would come out of the meeting which is already a norm. Hence, there shouldn't be much fluctuation in oil price. But the traders need to earn money and profit, hence the only way to do it is to make the price volatile which create opportunities to buy low and sell high. They can push it down to USD40 and the next few weeks, go back to USD50. That's how they make money. Dont get too caught up with oil price between such range. If oil price go down below USD30, that would be a concern then. USD40-USD50 is a normal trading range.

With Fed Rate and BOJ announcing their interest rate on 21st, market going to be volatile for the next few days. If you notice, even counters like Kossan and Top Glove didnt really rally this round but more staying sideway. The odd now is that Fed wont raise rate and how that would affect the sentiment on export counters?

Supermax results for the last two quarters were disappointing due to higher than average tax. And comparing Q3 2015, to reach such record profit, gonna be tough by Supermax. Hence, in my opinion, there shouldnt be any big movement for now for Supermax. RM2.15-RM2.25 could be the trading range for the next few weeks. Mind you, there is a US presidential election come November and market going to be volatile again by 3rd-4th week of October.

All warrants are at high premium and high exercise price. There are no good warrants to put the risk on. The safer investment is to buy the mother share instead. 2 out of 4 glove players already reported poorer results. Hence, there is 50% for Supermax to report poorer result as well. Kossan may release result on 19th August 2016 and hence wait for Kossan as well. If Kossan reports a poorer results, there is high probability that Supermax too will report poorer results for Q2 2016.
