i was having meetings the whole morning and no time to monitor market. Deng....Else i would have sold 50% of FGV this morning since I already suspected it would tayar pancit after a while and then downtrend for 2 weeks. By then, end April and early May another few warrants expiring and it would just back to quiet mood and everyday down 1-2 cents or up 1-2 cents until the warrants expired. Miss this window of opportunity so have to wait for another 2 weeks.

The only thing that would really move FGV is China investor confirmed gonna buy a significant stakes in FGV. Then, the uptrend can last for more than a day lah. Now uptrend for one day, then drop 2 weeks, then uptrend again for one day and next drop 2 weeks back to square one.

2.09 - 2.10 closing lah...Nothing surprising for FGV.

All 3 warrants expired this week. Next week could start the uptrend again after 2 weeks of rest.

The One, as mentioned by Lko36, this call warrants expiring on 17 wont allow FGV to move up. Besides, there are warrants expiring in April and May too. If there is no genuine breakthrough as mentioned by Baharuddin, it s tough for FGV to move up. We'll know next week after this call warrants expired on 17 and also fed rate already done deal.

The other warrants expiring end of March are not really a concern due to exercise price is above 2.2 and the exercise ratio is at least above 2.4:1. Hence, anything below 2.25 won't affect the issuers to take any action. Let the one expiring on 17 March to push it down further and also the factor from Fed Rate.

Consider good that it went up 10 sen on Monday before the downtrend for the rest of the week. At least it won't drop until 1.60. Think, they have factored in the downtrend and hence pushed the price up all of sudden to 1.93. Now FGV got some buffer to defend the price for the next 3 days until Friday. If everyday down 5sen for the next 3 days, it only drop until 1.73. Imagine if they didnt push it up on Monday, it would have dropped until 1.60.

Sit tight and wait after 16/17 March

One warrant expiring on 31 March but can forget bout it since the exercise price is high.

Dun forget fed meeting on 14, 15 which may cause weak sentiment and foreign fund pulling out.

With expiry of warrants soon, it won't move up much. The issuers won't allow it. Just sit tight and hang on until after 17 Mac. We may see lower price next week when the issuers press down further 5 days b4 expiry. In fact, tomorrow is critical. If they pressed it down, then they can use the same price for 3 days calculation as Saturday and Sunday market is closed.

Have to break rm2 to really move. 1.80-1.90 is nothing. Just normal fluctuation. FGV has been on thus cycle for several times for the past one month.

Another warrant expiring on 17 Mac already sitting with profit with the current price of 1.80. It doesnt even need to press down the price. Let the other guy do the job for them for free.

If warrant issuer wanna breakeven on 14 March, need to press down until 5 days average price 1.65. But looking at their ways of risk management they should have leave some margin of safety for their profit through out the warrants issuance period. Hence, they could press it down to further 1.75 before expiry on 14 march. Can't press down too much since they would need to sell lot of their holding in FGV for cheaper price. That would cause them to lose money as well. So they need to balance between this.

Unless they use different strategy, press down the price for the next few days and collect back their own warrants at lower price. Next, let the FGV price float by itself after they have collected back 60%-70% of their own warrants. Payout is only for 30% warrants holder.

Warrants issuers have two more weeks to dump the price. Guess, the uptrend only will come after 17 March.

One warrants only expiring on 17 March and as low as 1.35. Another at 1.60. If the warrants issuers really plan to reduce the payout, with exercise ratio, they woukd try to dump the price until 1.60 for FGV. This provided they have the sufficient margin to do so or else they going to lose more money.
