Is Pribumi gonna increase FGV price back to RM5? Else, what can they offer to felda settlers?

No one knows if Felda is raising fund to buy FGV shares or Eagle Plantation. I am aware that FGV is mulling to sell some of its assets such as Axa Affin. I m still waiting for them to announce it officially.

Supermax has been quiet and relatively stable for 1.5 months already. There could be a sudden surge up or down after this. Please be reminded that Stanley Thai internal trading case has been pending since Dec 2014. It has been 2 years plus and there are no news/update about his case. The outcome of the case would either lift up the share 50-60 sen or press down the share 50-60 sen as well.

C18 been pressed down for collection purpose perhaps? Did not justify the quantum of drop when mother share remain stable and the expiry is in end April 2017. Just monitor first and if continue to press down, can collect some if mother share still remain stable.

They are unable to privatize it at this price as the IPO was at 4.55. Political implication would be too high to bear even with a 30% premium from the current share price. Instead, they should start to collect at this low price and when they have collected a lot, then they can offer a good price for privatization. That could reduce the total fund required for privatization.

Yet to have big n great news. Delisting no longer in the news, and there isn't any FGV restructuring. Nothing to boost it except for good news such as profit in Q4, insurance claim approved, forex gain from deposit return, selling of assets such as AXA Affin and gained from the sales, Felda injection of funds or assets or EPF comes back and buy FGV shares. Last but not least, declaration from Najib on not letting Felda and FGV to go down no matter what. Just need to wait for all these scripted news or statements. Else, how to move FGV price back to Rm4 before GE14?

Sharir isn't talking about FGV but Felda. He leaves FGV to Zakaria for now. How Felda is going to rebuild FGV is yet to be discussed and revealed. Maybe delist, maybe asset injection, maybe private placement, maybe right issues, maybe get another big partner such as EHP, etc. Maybe nothing.

They put big block so you would sell to them at lower price. The one blocking at higher price and the one buying at lower price could be the same party.

If FELDA or GOV wanna delist FGV, go ahead as long as they pay RM2.50 - RM3.00. Anything lower, Tabung Haji and KWAP wont agree to it and they going to get lot of protest from Felda Settlers every week at FELDA office.

Felda Pekan, cause MAS has been bailed out few times and yet beyond repairable. It s not just privatise it, the Parliament even approved a MAS Act 2015 to push through the transformation and transition. All the stakeholders of MAS must comply without legal avenue to challenge it. MAS had too many cronnies and unions which weren't working with the management back then. The management has lost control of the operation of the company.

In addition, the previous CEO was a buying freak who keep acquiring assets for FGV. That affect the share price as well as you need to pay some premium to buy strategic assets and usually the buyer would be deemed at loss while the seller would be deemed as winner.

MAS was different. It made billion of loss each year for continously 2 years. The business in MAS no longer viable at that Time. FGV yet to make billion of loss but just the share price plummeted due to confidence level as well as weak CPO from 2014 till now. Besides, its nett profit is on declining mood and hence the share price goes down in tandem.

Dont think they gonna delist it at such low price. Felda settlers purchased the IPO at 4.55. Unless BN plans to lose GE14 and sapu everything before that.

C16 being suppressed for the past few days. FGV mother share has increased back to RM1.77 from RM1.53 but c16 only up from 0.025 to 0.05. Back in Dec when FGV was trading at 1.73, C16 was trading at 0.07-0.075. Agree with buyabest that big fish is collecting it

gcke, this isnt for medium to long term holding. There are many bluechips in Malaysia which are GLC and require businesses from Gov. For example, Maybank, Axiata and Tenaga. FGV on other hand is a different breed. There are ppl wanting FGV to go burst which would extend their political agenda and there are ppl who want to defend FGV. Hence the volatility.

Forget about good governance, good business, etc in FGV. It s purely an election play. If you prefer good governance or good business, u can find those managed by European or US or mat salleh management. Even for them, their BOD usually consists some political background ppl. That's the reality to do business in Malaysia. You need to lobby for projects, for permits, for funding, for approval, for good relationship with Government, etc.

Shahrir reputation and image is much better than Isa. The market may accept him and it would be reflected in FGV price next week.

Selling pressure from retail investors are still there. Can observe the thin volume of transaction. Apparently big boys came in around 1140am and pushed from 1.73 to 1.76. Unfortunately retail fella were quick to sell their position and take profit and pushed back the price to 1.73. Good news for those who are holding as big boys yet to take profit.

No trading during morning session. Guess need to wait and see if the big boys will play during afternoon session.

Can there be any more possible good news?
