ogt...As O&G counters have dropped to very attractive level.... come January when fund managers do their fund reallocation... will they or will that not overweight O&G???

ogt................ if you have read Dan Brown's "INFERNO" you will see some statistics from reliable authorities on how human being is growing exponentially that it will implore rather soon... as the world will not be producing enough of everything to feed the human being

if you want to talk about long term... US is exploring for a place to stay elsewhere in the universe

And... Armada's is a market sentiment problem... not fundamentals problem

Russia will stop the drop in the Rouble first... print money.... pay off the USD loans....

Rouble will drop..... let it be, as in Rouble term its USD oil money will be more today than yesterday

And... as oil revenue will increase in Rouble term... the rise in interest rate to 17% will not be as big a problem as it may seem to be

This is a measure to stop it from spreading to the economy....

Short term measure... short term... short term

Arrest the drop in the Rouble first... pay the loans...


Oil revenue would be more in Rouble term... as such, current account will be in surplus....FD rates could possibly be higher too

Anyway Russian main revenue from oil... and oil revenue will increase in Rouble term... thus possibly can mitigate the raise in interest rate

And... Armada's is a sentiment problem... not fundamentals problem

The major concern for Putin is Russian corporations' USD loans

17% is a short term measure... as a big part of the loans have short term maturity

It is a financial problem... not an economic problem

In its local currency ie Rouble term.... oil price is no longer an issue for Putin as the Rouble has dropped more than the oil price

That is to say.... every USD from its sale of oil even at this low level now is actually worth more in Rouble term today than yesterday...

Oil prices will rebound from here

Overnight in US, WTI went down to 53+ and rebounded to 57+ and settled at 55+.... US oil companies went up....

53+ a bottom... THE bottom? Enough have fallen... war will end soon? I am hopeful....
