Yes, this is a valid concern and the counter may have priced in some amount of fear in it. Otherwise, it would not be trading at this price and volume, given its NTA.

Management must demonstrate to us their resolve to change for the better(to enhance shareholders' value). Otherwise, it can remain lacklustre.

It is always wise to diversify your portfolio so that you will not be adversely affected should any counter fail you.

Whatever KKP does, he has to be accountable to the shareholders of PM Corp too.

He needs shareholders' approval for any major resolution. You think shareholders will agree to this? Probably he has to work out something beneficial to all parties....

Mike,

It is highly unlikely for PM Corp to go back to its original price when you first started your posting...below 10 sen, I believe.

At that time, nobody knew much about this stock. Now, with so much publicity and promotion by Calvin, you think the price can ever fall back to below 10 sen?

Calvin, for one, will buy more of such shares from his property sale proceeds(based on his earlier posting), not to mention others as well.

Of course, this is barring any major economic shocks or company fraud...to begin with.

Sharks have ears(maybe spies around)!

If they know all of you are so reluctant to let go your shares, there is really very little incentive for sharks to push it lower, unless there is major adverse news on the global front to warrant such an action.

Wait and see the spotlight at the end of the tunnel,if management does the right things...

Hi, Calvin,

I can see that you are a very logical and persuasive person. You can give a summary of views on gold investing. If you can do the same to summarise the forumers' views to management, this stock will have a brigher future.

Management needs to hear our views and enhance the shareholders' value.
This is probably the best way to reward investors.

The reason I cited Gold is just to illustrate the point that TA can be wrong too. We need to use our judgments sometimes.

Looking at Inari Amertron. Why is it that it can attract price action?

Possible reasons:
1. Positive news flows expected;
2. A large group of faithful followers;
3. Sharks have collected quite a lot of shares from very low prices.

As to when the music will stop, it is anybody's guess.

Stock

2013-12-13 09:43 | Report Abuse

From a trading perspective, one possible reason that PM Corp is not performing as expected is that sharks have probably not collected enough to warrant any 'meaningful' play and also market sentiment is weak.

Why is that so? It could be because many of you have clung tightly to your shares(very few sellers).

So, we need positive news flow from management to incentivise sharks into "meaningful" action. This applies to MUI as well.

Wow, Gold this morning tested its low at US$1,188 an ounce and made a dramatic comeback at US$1,227 now.

For the technical chartist, it is known as hitting a 'double bottoms' formation. Price should go up now. But many people out there still think that price will drop further, with Fed tapering anytime soon.

Which is right? TA or FA? Only time will tell. Isn't this what is happening to PM Corp now?

Whether a stock is worth buying depends on your investment objective and time horizon on investment.

If you are an investor(longer term), you will need to look at the investment value of the stock over a period of time.

If you are a trader(shorter term), you will need to have a trading plan, which includes, among others, a profit target and a stop-loss trigger. A stop-loss trigger will minimise your loss position in case prices turn against you.

Whether for a longer or shorter term, only invest in counters that you are familiar with or have knowledge about.

Santa Claus is coming to town! Cheers!

Insas is higher on the back of Inari Amertron.

PM Corp can only drift along with the mainstream. It may need positive news flow to move up much higher in this lull month.

After 5 minutes. Only managed to find a buyer to buy at 24 sen, with an outstanding queue of 400 shares.

Without much buying support, sharks may soon bring it back to 23.5/24 sen and stack up sellers to collect at 23.5 sen or lower.

Sharks are not worried about paying at 23.5 sen per share as they are sure that once they push up, you guys will have to pay much more to buy them back...

They buy low and sell high. But some of you chase high and sell low.
This is what we call "paradox of trading". That explains why most retailer lose money.

A food for thought during this festive season of giving and sharing!

Talking about TA.

Many investors shorted Gold recently based on technical charts that suggested more downside on increasing prospect of Fed tapering.

But do you know that they were made to cover their short positions these few days. Why? Big boys still call the shots.

Talking about $ cost averaging. This is not an easy to implement concept.

But I can suggest as follows(applicable to this counter only):
1. Divide your cash holdings in say, 4 tranches;
2. Every time when price drops 15%(eg 3 or 4 sens)from current levels(say 23.5 sen), buy using your 1st tranch;
3. The same process goes on if price drops another 15%, until all your 4 tranches are used up.

Premises:(used only)
1. if you have a strong conviction and belief in the value of this counter;
2. Invest in batches. Do not go in altogether.

In fact, this is a strategy used widely by fund managers and sharks as well. You may vary the % or amount of averaging to suit your own investment style.

Thoughts for the new year...

Volume traded so far is 400 shares. It really speaks of what I say...no real buying and selling interest at this moment in this counter.

The real test of confidence will be next week...if no Fed tapering, the market may have early Christmas cheers...or a pre-lunar new year rally early early January.

Otherwise, the sharks might have a valid excuse to push it down further to lure selling from the weak holders.

Time will tell.....and history always repeats itself...

This morning, sharks are testing the mkt with a buy queue of 23 sen and a sell queue of 24 sen. They want to see whether it will be a buy or sell queue at 23.5 sen, before deciding on the next move.

As mentioned, volume is pathetic that sharks are able to move the counter either way, with a slight downward bias for this time of the year.

December is usually a lull month, when investors and traders alike celebrate festivities and/or go holidaying overseas. Trading volumes are relatively lower.

So, this is a perfect timing for big sharks to push down prices to collect...for what? To prepare for a rally in January(known as pre-Chinese New Year rally or in western terms, the January effect).

If prices do not drop enough...how can sharks create a rally, riding on good market sentiments in January...

Just my own experience trading KLSE penny stocks so far.

It had been holding up rather steadily at 24 sen today. All it took was just a sell trade of 20,000 shares done at 23.5 sen(buyer's queue) to close at 23.5 sen.

The support price of 23 sen may be tested again tomorrow. Watch it.

Nevertheless, like what I said earlier, there could be a pre-Chinese New Year rally next month(a tradition so far), esp if there is no Fed tapering this month.

Be prepared for .... a better show next month...

So many of our forumers can write to promote the investment value of this counter here, whether this can be carried out in real terms depends on the management's commitment to put it into action.

The management must be made to understand and realise our vision! Otherwise, it is just our wishful thinking.

Stock

Let me analyse this stock from a trading perspective.

At the current price, there are not many 'genuine' buyers and sellers to warrant great movements in prices. It will probably stay dormant until end of the month, unless there is some good news to boost the stock price.

Whether it will go down to 20 sen as suggested, I cannot comment much until the recent support of 23 sen is broken(reading of basic TA charting). Utimately, it is the big sharks that will determine its price direction, with due consideration of demand and supply conditions and any other contributing factors.

Of course, if, for any reason, we start to sell this counter in large quantity, the price can drop below 20 sen. So far, judging from the positive feedbacks from the forum threads, chances are slim at the moment.

This is not a solicitation to buy or sell this counter. Trade at your own risks.

If there are more buyers than sellers, sharks see little incentive to push it down.

On the other hand, sharks need followers(or buyers) to push it up. It just takes 2 hands to clap.

The outcome will very much depend on a balancing of the 2 opposing forces. Mere talking does not help.

In stocks investing, it is always advisable to stay invested, when you find value in a particular counter. Do not attempt to time your trade as sometimes it may work against you.

This is especially so, when good news is announced and the price will usually gap up higher before you can have a chance to buy the counter.

Remember, accumulate slowly when times are bad. This is also the strategy of big sharks!
