It will not fall like DSC Solutions, a loss-making company. DSC Solutions was played up last week by the big sharks to the high of 43 sen and has since been pushed down due to excessive amounts of speculative play and forced selling.
But PM Corp has been trading on low volumes. To me, it is just poor market sentiments. In fact, most counters have been drifting lower in December(a quiet month). Big sharks could be using this opportunity to push down prices to collect (probably for the pre-Chinese New Year rally next month), just like some of the pp here waiting to collect cheap too.
Do not be lured into selling by the big sharks if you truly believe in the value of this company.
Just my 4 cts worth of opinion. No offence.

Big sharks have been pushing down Sumatec in the past few days in anticipation of the mega rights listing yesterday. Yesterday, it was pushed down to test the low of 25 sen. Cost of right share is about 23 sen for Sumatec(after netting off the price of warrant).
To me, big sharks may have most likely weeded out weak and contra players yesterday. So, it is time for the big sharks to slowly push up the share price to do some "selling" of the shares and warrant that they have collected recently and via right subscriptions. More so, for the new warrant(4 times easier to push up)!
See if there is any forced selling middle of next week.. If not, the price could be slowly moving higher in the medium term, if there is good news in the making.
Just my 2 cts worth of opinion.

Both price and volume went up so much. No UMA query from Bursa?

Hi,Gweilo
Insas has been on an uptrend since Sept. What is the great news?

Share price is determined by the demand and supply of the underlying share.
In normal circumstances, an increase of supply by the listing of rights issue will create downward pressure on the share price.
Other factors to consider are any positive or negative news that will influence the investors' perception of the underlying share, how the big sharks intend to play the counter, etc.

I expect the prices to fall somewhat after the big sharks have disposed off their shares before the listing date.
For those who own the ORs, just go ahead to subscribe for the ORs.
For those who have subscribed for the ORs, just wait for 21 Nov. Hopefully, there is some good news to support the prices

It appears to me that the big sharks are clearing their holdings of mother share and warrant, before the mega new shares listing on 21 Nov.
Those who are holding the OR like me can only watch the show and subscribe our entitlements.

Hi, Wanttowin,
If my guess is correct, there is a time lag of almost a month for the new shares to be listed(new shares to be listed on 21 Nov). And the new shares may flood the market, with possibly a lower price, at least in the beginning of the listing date.
Whereas the current mother share has no issue of over-supply at the moment, hence the price differential at the moment. Big fish can push it up higher before the listing date, if it is selling.
Both prices will converge on the listing date..
Just my humble thoughts.

Hi, Palinco,
You mentioned:
Price of OR appro. 0.320(MS) - 0.175(SR) + 0.16/4(W) = 0.185 or (lower for discoun)
Could I know why + 0.16/4(w)? How does this come about?
Thank you.

Hi, Wanttowin, thanks for your prompt reply.
Based on my example, if I were to buy 10k rights(OR) tomorrow, I would be able to subscribe for 10k mother share and 2500 warrant after the ex date.
For the subscription, I would need to pay 17.5 sen x10,000 only = RM 1,750.
Pls let me know if my understanding is correct.
Thank you once again.

Title / Description RENOUNCEABLE RIGHTS ISSUE OF UP TO 2,722,220,957 NEW ORDINARY SHARES OF RM0.14 EACH IN SUMATEC RESOURCES BERHAD ("SUMATEC") (“RIGHTS SHARES”) TOGETHER WITH 680,555,239 FREE DETACHABLE WARRANTS (“WARRANTS”) ON THE BASIS OF FORTY-ONE (41) RIGHTS SHARES FOR EVERY TEN (10) EXISTING ORDINARY SHARES OF RM0.14 EACH IN SUMATEC TOGETHER WITH ONE (1) WARRANT FOR EVERY FOUR (4) RIGHTS SHARES SUBSCRIBED AT AN ISSUE PRICE OF RM0.175 PER RIGHTS SHARE PAYABLE IN FULL UPON ACCEPTANCE ("RIGHTS ISSUE WITH WARRANTS")
Hi, just a check. If I were to buy 10k rights tomorrow, would I be able to subscribe for 41k new shares and 10,250 warrant or just only 10k new shares?
Based on the circular, am I right to say that the new share costs 14 sen per share and warrant 3.5 sen?
Could someone who has experience in buying rights give advice on this?
Thank you.

Hi, Alkop,
Thanks for your sharing.
Noticed that the price did not break 41 sen today, but closed at 40 sen instead.

I have lost faith in CBL.
CBL had rejected a restricted sale offer from Ninetology that valued the share at 55 sen per share last year(and this could lead to a mandatory take-over offer for all shareholders), but now he sells his shares at 8.5 sen???

The price has stablised around 23.5 to 25.5 sen, after the big fall.
Hopefully, it can rebound from there onwards.

As far as I know, a capital pay-out(if any) is only payable to the shareholders, not to the staff(whether CEO or CFO, unless they also own the company shares).
So, the CFO will still be entitled to the pay-out even if he leaves the company, so long as he is a shareholder.
Whether the ESOS is an incentive for him to stay depends on the offer/job prospects from the other company...
