Pav, you're actually right. Those dotcom company but not all does not have great asset but they can generate great revenue and they are constantly upgrading themselves and they don't depend on relationship. They built a good fundamental where people want to promote their thing, they will think of them and not the other way, where facebook looking for its potential client one by one. This is called the power of "branding". Same goes to other Tech Giant.

Now back to Datasonic, what do they have that make them grow so fast?
Business wise, their client can simply switch to other company which offer better prices, don't you think? If you try to speculating the company along with others, it is fine actually that this is overpaying since the company will realize its value but what if they are losing the business in the process?

Overpaying if only the company operate a business that is much secure and are not easy to be replace. In the end, speculation (goreng) will kill them all.

Datasonic is a great company but great and price are often not tally in the sense of "value"

The problem come after the split of shares... Now you are paying RM 5 dollar for 1/5 portion of the cake when it only cost RM 5 for one whole cake before..

Ask again, is the company increased their assets 5 times as well? Or the split of 5 just to reduce the "number" so many more can join the once in the life time bull run?

You must understand the definition of value and price... Who will have the laugh in the end...

I sold mine earlier when it reach 1.00 and I didn't look back but I look forward and invest in Caely and Asiapac.. I don't regret of letting go Fitter even with good prospect in the future.. I have my target and strategy, which define what you really want..

Every fundamental sound counter is good when it comes to long term. But if it won't match your target in short period, then is time to let go and go for a faster one.

Fitter is good for long term investment as they are diversified, paying dividend and expanding.

If you are going for a short term, then you should set a target first and strategy first.. Asking here may not be appropriate as people may asking you to hold but they are selling.
