If it touches 0.63, then the uptrend is confirmed. Otherwise, it will be just like looking at small fry fishing for scraps.

Yesterday or not, read carefully
KUALA LUMPUR: AppAsia Bhd shares were shaken yesterday on reports that its new substantial shareholder Permodalan Mara Bhd (PMB) had sold some shares.
From the word go, the stock was in the red before closing 4.5 sen lower to 80 sen, while the warrants which had been literally on fire retreated six sen to 65 sen.
At the close of trading, PMB announced that it had IN ACTUAL FACT INCREASED, albeit marginally, its stake in AppAsia to 6.3 per cent or 23.29 million shares.
"The selling was over done. Now it's game on, as our intentions are to turn the company into a Bumiputra entity," said a source advising PMB, a state-owned investment arm.
More buying are expected as many are banking on AppAsia being the first local financial service fintech company to break into the global market.
Already it has the second largest global market share in the electronic bank confirmation platform for auditors in collaboration with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
The deal is estimated to push AppAsia's PROFIT by more than 20 times, enough legs to carry the company into the main board of Bursa Malaysia, within the next 36 months.

To recap, Ni Hsin had on 14 May signed a product manufacturing agreement with Marywah Industries (M) Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caely Holdings Bhd.
Ni Hsin had appointed Marywah as the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of NHM's brand name products which mainly consists of fabric face masks (under the brand name of Masketeer – Coolmax Fibre Protective Mask) and PPE.

Pure business - they took profit. Bought 4mil, disposed 2mil, bought again 4 mil.. technically they have bought 6mil.

Well said - gloves market is getting crowded. If vaccine is available, then it will be further consolidated. But this is a fair price - any drop is bonus for the collector.

Not really - no fund support. Since departure of Nihsin, it has lost goodwill. But since business modules are intact, I don't see why people should panic sell. In all eventuality, it could later be target of some form of takeover via shareholding space since its "infrastructure" are already geared to facemask and PPE making

Do your homework before trading. This stock as reached the upper limits of its potential - those who got it just after March 15, if they invested heaps, and kept till now, would have made 5 fold. Look back at the charts and you will see. Now, there are a few factors against its meteoric rise and most obvious is the market getting more players. Also, it is seeking private placement for new glove manufacturing facilities - meaning it needs new funding. All said, whether it will continue along current path or not, a lot will depend on its new venture. I just hope the owners will look into areas to improve, especially on its investor relations. Not much is known. There had been so much speculation of its activities and what exactly is it doing?

Look at the daily rise versus the volume. If you know what you are holding, you don't have to worry. If you buy because others are buying, then better let go for better sleep

QR report in two weeks if I am not mistaken. The last didn't show big profits because of some additional liabilities. This one should show a marked increase. That is why volume is spiking.

MARA is only a substantial shareholder - not major stake holder. What can be expected - if BN rules again - is that it will be a smoother journey to connect to local companies requiring what it has produced. Also, what it has produced will find ways to other same-stream fields that require audit confirmation software intelligence. That is what I believe that at this 60-70sen level, this stock is undervalued. Reason why is because the focus of major investors are on HC counters which is slowly but surely reaching saturation point and competitive advantage will be smaller. Also, with discovery and worldwide usage of vaccine expected shortly, who knows what the future holds.

0.5mil units bought at 0.62 today could well be an institutional fund. it is rare foreign funds throw money to back a local company unless they see potential. over the weekend, do your homework and see if this stock is worth the trouble. From audit circle, it will revolutionise workprocess in the new normal. Appasia could well be the gem of tech stocks if Rakuten's forecast is anything to go by

@SuperWan https://www.nst.com.my/business/2020/08/614439/shareholding-realignmen...
Is this true?
The newspiece did not name the fund which bought Appasia. But the fact is Appasia owned the e-Confirmation. Whether its substantial shareholder is a Malaysian entity or an even bigger international fund, it does not matter. What is fact is that 1) Appasia's produce is used by top audit firms in the country and major banks.
2) Each use is RM15 per successful confirmation
3) There is no competitor to Appasia in Malaysia for this electronic banking confirmation and they will likely be the industry leader of this innovation
4) Agreement with MIA lasts 12 years
Solid investments are usually made on facts. Rumours provide the spark.

TA is reflecting recovery of its earlier momentum before the sharp panic selling today. If it finishes at above 0.63, then it is well on its way to 0.73 to fulfill its higher Fibo extension. Afterall, it touched 61sen this afternoon

TA wise, the hourly charts are showing good buying up and if one can be optimistic, it may even break the early targets reached. If not at least end the day at around late 60s

Looks like there is second life after NihSin. This morning's volume drop benefitted some very smart investors - collecting a few million shares between 0.59 to 0.53. Like I mentioned earlier - no change in fundamentals except that NihSin made profit from its moving away from this stock. But the contracts of PPEs and facemasks have been signed and production is probably geared towards meeting that. So, you can wait and see how this will go

Caely produces facemask and PPes also and has standing orders. This will keep it in good stead - with many companies jumping onto this HCsector which will continue even after the vaccine for Covid is available (facemask for flu prevention, TB etc). Way I look at it, if looking at gloves industry's direction which showed companies moving into acquiring existing glove-making firms, the spot left by NiHsin will be taken up by others in competition - maybe a backdoor acquisition? Let's watch the fun

JT5774 @bowman: HLT uptrend since 17/07/2020 and it move slow and steady and according to TA it's moving towards the TP.
I like to think similarly.. but if you recall, the same happened when people anticipated high-results two months ago and when it did not measure up, it drop like a hot potato.. right now, no one knows when result will come up and what the company is up to. We can take the ESOS as yardstick and at 90sen, who knows if the staff will start selling. Buy 70sen, sell to market like us at 90sen, means a profit of 20sen over 70sen - what almost nearly 30% gain for just registering and letting loose. Now, that is scary, considering how much the directors were selling till this point. Just my two cents of observation this far. I could be wrong, and I hope I am. But I am out already, not chasing any higher than 89.5 simply because I dont know what results are coming.
