look guys, if you look at all the gloves counters, the same red slide is similar - From Harta ro Carepls. I have just gone in - not much but to break even my earlier losses to a much bearable level should it rise and go back to the original uptrend. People may say that it is crazy, but let's see. You either win or you lose. If you stay focussed and detached from it, those are only numbers. What goes down will come up - and at its worst, it will come up. Looking around, the Covid cases have again reared their ugly heads - from Beijing to US. This global pandemic is not letting down yet - and even if it is, new living norms would put demand for gloves at a higher notch than before. Frankly, I feel that HLT is is a better shape to weather this storm - they are involved in the entire "supply chain" from rubber to gloves, and the dipping lines as well. So, my advice, dont panic if you didnt borrow to invest. If you invest, and invest for the long term, just wait out the storm. No storms last a hundred days

If you have made 7 rounds already, only trapped by this one, just wait it out. it cant be down forever or up all the time. US is experiencing rise in Covid cases. India too probably will see high spikes. Despite world production increase, gloves are needed very day, Covid or not. And yes, Beijing has just imposed lockdown.

@JT5774 Thanks for your explanation. Yes, that pivot point you mentioned is critical. Once it is hit, uptrend is almost certain. But in Fibonacci retracement, I think it is back in the trend albeit volume does not support the u-turn yet

@midzurll19, looks good as I think it is poising for a reversal. It is still above the 20MA support level, so it should still have enough momentum to push higher.. from the volume traded, I think (like you said) the long-legged doji is not a cause for concern. Some stocks show an indecision cross, some gravestone, some like you pointed out, this. It's the volatility of the US market that is causing all these disconcerting signs. If the results are out, the investors will know whether to go long or short and hence decide for once the real price of this counter. That's just my observation

@midzurll19 The doji pattern that formed ... i was pretty concerned too. That is an unmistakable gravestone. And even my Fabi charts shows that it is dangerously losing ground. Today, there is more stability. I am hoping the good results will come out - and if this happens, the momentum may be enough to take it past the RM1 mark previously hit. Remember, all other glove and glove related businesses have announced their results. So there wont be a rising tide raising all ships - just this one. If HLT results are in multiples, your joys will also be multiplied.

What i meant was at the time double trouble was because of DJI - if it is in the red again (which was what happened earlier) it would certainly affect our market. ie. double-trouble. The miracle happen part was a figure of speech.. which looks like today, DJI went up and we are all green. My apologies for the confusion

@bone - i think you better start reading up on what bearish engulfing is. then you understand better. when prices drops, to those holding high it could spell trouble. but if they have deep pockets, why do they even care? when prices are low, to those not having a share, they might consider it is miracle because now they have means to buy. If they do buy, if the prices drops further, do you want to call it a miracle or a curse? This is commonsense, I think.

It is subjective - depends whether you have much and want to hold or capable to hold, or to cutloss. And if you are a beginner, can you wait it out before going in or dare to go in without a care.

In stock trading, read not only the technicals but what are the fundamental reason you are buying. Getting a quick meal? A free meal is a myth.

Read up what the company you are investing in is doing. Without knowledge, you will be following the crowd which is also clueless

I think i wont say a word... some people who are sensitive to losses may imply that you or I who wants to share may be "silently contributing to influencing emotions of newcomers" . Seriously, what's wrong if you ask people to be wary with their money? People should invest only on strong fundamentals. Otherwise, it is gambling.

But I am enlightened by your views Midzurl19, especially that by Nison. Prior to this, candlesticks was only a method for prediction use by rice traders. You might want to look to do a course in Fibonacci patterning. This is just as interesting as understahding the Kumo cloud.

@midzurll19 @bone Candlestick chart patterns do not give predictions with 100% accuracy. Sometimes a bear market may not necessarily follow a bearish engulfing, and likewise a bull market may not ensue after a bullish engulfing. Experience chartists (not me) know that failures happen, which is why they always wait for the confirmations

Midzurl, you are right. Yes, at best they only forecast. When the Japanese invented it, it was to predict seasonal rice demand for easier expectation of trading and to see whether farmers need to plant more for next season. It has since been used in stock trading because its symbols are easier to read than open/close-high/low ticks

In any case, if you are buying the warrants, it is at a discount actually. From the candlesticks, and other supportive indicators, today should end on a positive note. Let's wait till 11am.

Whether or not penjana benefits this counter is immaterial - it has enough projects under its belt to worry about french fries like that. It may not be a big name in Klang Valley but in Negri, it is well respected. with 6% dividends every year, without fail, what more would you want to ask for? Too bad foreign investment houses did not see this company as a worthwhile pitch

How many percent of your first investment have you made till now? If you have invested at the lower end of 0.30, then you are a master of you survived this far. If you have caught the crest of the wave and jumped off and then back again until it hits the limit-up the other day, congrats. You know your game. Nevermind if you did not follow the crowd after the limit-up. From limit up to the highest it has ever reached was only about 30sen. You would have made twice your investment of 30sen at 90. And if you had spotted this before April 15, i think you have enough knowledge to ride HLT to its real potential. Tomorrow, and onwards, I am sure the stock will rise to the occasion. This is the time Systech takes flight after many years languishing in the doldrums because of shift towards other stocks. The future is in Internet of Things and if you know IoT, you know that of of the main issues is that of data protection and privacy. But that is not all - when devices are all linked to communicate to each others, security is the main issue. I hope Systech is already on the bandwagon in its network security business segment for this will be the archilles heel of the implementation of IoT. You can design the best system but you wont sleep well at night if you worry about security breaches. You not only need cybersecurity but also its monitoring. Systech already has a foot in both and I would like to believe that it is a good buy at current prices, with good anticipation of its future, especially with the current focus on Technology as the country crawls out of the pandemic. Just my observations.
