Who could be just short-term play because someone want to cash out.

What is the future prospects of this business, could be more helpful, if dont want to get stuck, once buying stop n volume dry up, a common trait of OSK-related ctrs

just guess since MAHA GAYABINA got 239m left to sell,but who knows? miracle can happen in Bursa, PWORTH wont go belly up, hahaha (ah, i mean, U will outlast this hiccup)

identify the right sector to buy stk in, is a key first step, to minimise need for cut-loss later.

Choose a sector with good technicals , uptrending, good fundamentals, but not rally too high yet, may give better chance to make money.
The best bet maybe a sector that had been downtrending for some time, and has just bottom, like the plantation sector now.

buy the mother will definately make money below 1.40 ,
buy the cw, is a gamble, odds will lose more than gain, punt small to protect your capital

BTW, do you realise that your side bets actually colour your interpretation of the markets ? U r not objective and only see what you want to see...

So, you r not actually in cash, your r in the market, taking risky bets..

Isnt there a clear contradiction in being in cash, to avoid market risk and yet embark in risky trading of shorting the index, which is akin to gambling, as there are too many factors that influence the index, beyond what most punters can grasp ?

Most traders do not expect fabulous riches, they just target steady,regular cash rewards, to spend on the extras in life, the annual vacations, lobster meals, growing retirement fund reserves, or just weekend pocket money.

Traders are practical , realistic people.They dont aim for the sky,' like fabulous riches gain by holding great stocks for very long time'.

In fact, many could be retirees, just want to have a good experience in the markets.

They know that this chiche is dangerous thinking, that can cause people to lose wealth more than gain .

When stuck with a wrong entry, one can hope that it will be all right, if one is patient n keep holding.

It depends, it is also valid option to lose that 5-10% when make a mistake n switch to the nxt winning trade. Based on the concept to keep losers small n let the winners run big.

At this stage of the stock markets worldwide, one can see that the bulls are very tired n the next stage could be some unexpected black swan event that trigger the big downturn, that many had been expecting for some time.

So, to trade in today's market n not keep expecting those fabulous riches may be more prudent for most people.

This may not be applicable for the already reasonably rich , who have different goals, n think they can take the hit n wait it out, in the worst case scenario.

So, let's embrace diversity of thinking n practice in the stock market, as in life, for a more balance view of things.

selected property stks above can be short term bargain hunting buys, during selldowns at their intra day lows ,
but the property sector looks likely to be in the doldrums until the Msian economy recovers, perhaps in 3-5 yrs

for newbie investors/traders,
time to reduce your bet here n change to other prospects, whatever good news already known n price in , downside more than upside, for this mth..
