At that time Drb was only 92 sen

What is the difference between upstream and downstream palm oil co?

Answer:

Upstream are those which only plant and produce Ffb with their own mills to crush them into Cpo and stopped there

Downstream are those who process Cpo into cooking oil, soap, shampoo, biofuel and thousands of other by products from palm oil
As such their cost of production go up when Cpo prices are high like now

That is why when Ffb and Cpo prices are high better invest in pure upstream oil palm co

Tsh cost Rm2000 to Rm2200

Inno cost Rm2000 more or less

Kmloong cost Rm2200

Taann people said for more efficient ones near mills cost also rm2000 and lower

United plant
This one got own private railway line in plantation so it has the lowest cost of production overall at only Rm1700 per ton more or less

The cost of Cpo production for those with downstream operation might be higher due to higher Ffb they got to buy from Upstream planters

For pure upstream planters like Tsh Resources the cost of Cpo production is Rm2000 to Rm2200
