Sslee

Please stop the misinformation the cash use for acquisition is not classified as expense in P&L statement.
EPS is 6.9 sen regardless of any cash used in acquisition of assets or PPE

Cash Flows used in Investing Activities RM '000
Acquisition of subsidiaries, net of cash - (52,209) -

OK SSLee clever!

In any case Cash went into PPE and bloated NTA from Rm1.43 to Rm1.51

If not the Rm52.25 Mil excess Cash could be given out as Dividends like Innoprise Plant

Ok please refer Bursa 5 year chart on Tsh Resources

On January 26 2022 Tsh was Rm1.09

(How come Berlin so Chun Chun? This Rm1.09 was Calvin 1st buying Price as Well.

Ok Rm1.09

Current price of Tsh Rm1.02

So there is a short fall of 7 sen

But please take a look at Tsh dividend since Jan 26 2022 till now

20-Apr-2023 16-Jun-2023 DIVIDEND Final Dividend RM 0.0250
23-Nov-2022 07-Dec-2022 DIVIDEND First Interim Dividend RM 0.0800
24-Feb-2022 30-Mar-2022 DIVIDEND Interim Dividend RM 0.0300

Total Dividend is 13.5 sen

So 13.5 sen less 7 sen

= 6.5 sen gain

or 3.25 sen gain per year

FD rate is 3% so Tsh is break even

Now Jtiasa only pay two times dividend per year
And dividend quantum still low at 20% as Jtiasa still got Net debt of Rm93 Million to be cleared

Last Qtr EPS 6.9 sen

So 6.9 X .2

= 1.38 sen (this will be accumulated dividend carried forward next month)

Now no more Rm52.25 Mil expense for buying any more Palm oil assets

equal to 5.39 sen

Again 5.39 X .2 (set aside as dividend)
= 1.07 sen

So add 1.38 sen to 1.07 sen

= 2.45 sen

And we have not yet included Net Profit from operating Profit
Will it be the usual 6.9 sen like last qtr (For more or for less?)

For that we will wait and only then we shall know the exact total profit & actual dividend

From all amgles Jtiasa is moving up strongly like never before

Not forgetting that the extra Rm52.25 Millions palm oil purchased are from highly fruitful matured trees which will boost earnings further

Stock

2024-01-28 13:45 | Report Abuse

At Rm52.250 Millions Expense it was worth

5.39 sen

Now if we add 5.39 sen to reported profit of 6.9 sen
last qtr result should be 12.29 sen

But since Cash of Rm52.25 Millions went into Asset Purchase

The Net Value was reflected in its increase in Total NTA

See

April to June 2023 Qtr Result NTA

NTA was Rm1.43

Now latest is Rm1.51

So the extra profit is Parked under NTA and NTA has gone up by 8 sen from Rm1.43 to Rm1.51

SO THIS QTR THERE WILL BE NO MORE RM52.25 MIL EXPENSE

AS SUCH I EXPECT EPS TO GO HIGHER NOTWITHSTANDING FFB PRODUCTION HAS DROPPED SLIGHTLY
ALTHOUGH CPO PRICES WEAKENED THERE IS A CORRESPONDING DROP IN FERTILIZER COST

NEXT WE WILL SEE DIVIDEND

Jaya Tiasa

Latest 3 Months (Oct to Dec 2023) 345,779 Metric Tonnes

Their FFB almost the same at 345K tonnes and 348K tonnes

But check carefully

Total Acres of SOP over 300,000 Acres

Total Acres of Jtiasa only 206,000 Acres

Ahbah so clever!

yes Tsh originally started with Cocoa but later changed to oil palm like jtiasa changed from timber to palm oil

Now i see you also like gold
For Tsh it has huge 94,700 acres of "gold mine" lands in Ikn Nusantara or as big as 52% of Spore land area 180,000 acres

Plus the cost of Tsh lands here were purchased 16 years ago at the rock bottom price of Rm5000 per acre or 11 cent per sq ft. Now these lands have appreciated to over Rm1 million per acre or Rm27.60 psf

The undervaluation is simply astounding
Many in Eagle group are selling others to buy Tsh
Some even sell Jtiasa to buy Tsh

PUMPING NINJA STOCKS & THE GREATER FOOL ARE THE SAME!!

We are all at a wonderful ball where champagne sparkles in every glass and soft laughter falls upon the summer air. We know, by the rules, that at some moment, terrorists will burst in through the terrace doors, killing many and scattering the survivors. Those who leave early will be saved, but the ball is so splendid that no one wants to leave while there is still time. Everyone wants to enjoy one more dance and sip one more glass of champagne. So everyone kept asking: "What time is it? What time is it?" We look around and find that all the clocks have no hands.

This may be a surrealist's way of describing the stock market but Goodman's parable has a great deal of truth in it. Of course, we know that in every speculative boom of the past, the 'terrorists' did come when most of the guests were still enjoying themselves at the ball. As 'Adam Smith' implies, nobody knows when a speculative boom will end but end it must for that is the rule. At every speculative boom, not many of the small speculators escaped with their gains made on the way up. Most of the smaller speculators known to me eventually lost all their gains and much more than what has been gained.

Some even lost a large part of their original capital. Thus on the next occassion when you happen to find yourselves at this type of a ball, try to leave early. The problem is that once one is caught up in the fun and games of the party, one is apt to lose touch with reality. Chances are that believers of the Greater Fool Theory will hang on to the bitter end, only to be slaughtered. It is better to miss a few dances or a few glasses of champagne than lose one's life.

In concluding this section, an anecdote about Bernarde Baruch, generally acknowledged to be the greatest stock traders of the 1920s is related. He was once asked how it was that he remained so rich while many of his contemporaries had declared bankrupt. This was his splendid answer: 'I always sold too early.'

Happy morning

The same can be said like this

You can never get a good sized durian for one ringgit today and also you can never get good lands per acre at Rm6,250 an acre in Kemaman, Kluang, Serian , Bintulu or Lahad Datu today

the amazing thing is WE CAN STILL GET THEM BY OWNING THPLANT which own these lands still at old book value

these are like finding "mau sang Wang" durians misplaced in the pile of ordinary durian selling for a song
