Pm Anwar announced that Govt returning to Tabung Haji assets worth Rm19.9 Billions

In coming months might see Action in Thplant just like we see action in bplant now

There is a big difference between Bplant and Thplant

Thplant top holder is Tabung Haji with 73.8%

and Bplant owned by Both boustead and Ltat totalled 67%

While Boustead has high debt of Rm7 Billions Tabung Haji will get an injection of almost Rm20 billion

So while Boustead needed help from Outside entities Thplant ultimate holding co will be very solvent and cash rich soon

Bplant at IPO was Rm1.60
and now Rm1.46

Thplant at IPO was Rm1.25 and now only 54 sen look very cheap

Another well positioned bidder is Ioi corp

although it has conservative term debt of Rm3.4 billions backed by high value assets

and it has a cash hoard of Rm2.4 billions

Ioi corp is not too keen on bplant being assets play with little earnings as Ioi Corp itself has assets of immensely undervalue by book value

Now Klk looks like quite weak in it's offer to take over Bplant unlike when it took over Ijmplant

at that time Klk was too aggressive and gave a High premium price for Ijmplant at Rm3.10 and now it more careful

also Ijmplant was a non bumi while Bplant bumi Glc

also A look at Klk balance sheet shows total debt to be Rm9.3 billion while it's cash only about Rm2.8 Billions
So Klk might try to conserve cash by trying to get Bplant at a lower price even though it has hastened to offer Rm1.55 to ward of other competing bidders

Speakup

The Crux of the matter is not Boustead selling its Bumi assets but its holdings of Bplant shares perceived to be owned by Bumi entity

Precedent already set when Bplant already sold Kulai Young lands to non bumi Ytl power last year

None of the lands owned by Bplant are under Malay Reserve as such Bplant can also chose to sell all until it remain an empty shell co

All these are projections but humans will still need Palm oil no matter what as it is the most economical vege oil around

On Feb 17 2017 Jtiasa with highest debt was Rm1.38

Now Jtiasa total debt only Rm93.75 mil and price only 88 sen is so cheap

Net debt is Rm93.75 mil
