my comment.,

khoo kay peng had a history of making his shareholders poor.
he does not have any good records for all his listed companies in KLSE but personally he is still very rich.
To me, the moral of the owner of a company is a very important factor.

We also did our calculations whether PM CORP will go into PN 17 Status. After 4 years of very careful research. Visits to NFI Factory in Selangor, Iskandar & viewing MUI'S Hotel & Visiting METROJAYA IN MID VALLEY MEGAMALL & 2 Metrojaya in Johor.

Attending 4 YEARS OF AGM. ASKING COUNTLESS THOUSANDS OF QUESTIONS

Looking into all the ASSETS & the liabilities We Have COME TO A FIRM CONCLUSION.

PM CORP IS THE BARGAIN OF THE CENTURY! A 10 BAGGER OR A 100 BAGGERS!

FOLLOWED BY MUI PROPERTIES AND MUI BERHAD.

THEY ARE THE BEST OF THE VERY BEST BUYS IN KLSE

calvin, I also have looked into its business, and most of all its assets and liabilities. For me PM Corp is a great investment. Quality assets and business not that great lah but most important not burning cash. Of course you know much more than anybody here about PMCorp. You may be right also about its great business. I kind of believe in you from your postings. No talking nonsense, not so sure of that 100 baggers, not even that 10 baggers. But I hope you are right because I invested in it too.

mlg123's concern is a genuine concern to me which I don't know how confident you are on kkp. For me, I thought kkp has never have minority shareholders' interest in mind. If that is through, no matter how good a company is, it is not a good investment no matter how cheap is it.

Same for those Nestle shareholders. In 1998 Nestle was RM11.70 giving a decent dividend yield of 9% Now Nestle is RM68.00 giving a dividend yield of only 3.5%

Looking at Nestle makes me feel so good for having found PM Corp

member41, Sorry it was 6 years and not 7 years as stated. The price we first entered (johor Investors) was 25 cts. in last 6 years PM corp's highest price was 29 cts & the lowest was 7.5 cts.

When we first bought at 25 cts prices rebounded to 29 cts. I am not sure if anyone of us sold at 29 cts. We saw PM Corp exercising share buy back from 47 cts to 20 cts & we also noticed ASB selling. ASB has about 15% Share allotment to Bumi Company at 50 cts and above.

The buying and selling became more intense as the years go by. Later PNB took over ASB portion. but the sell down continued unabated all the way to 10 cts. The ferocity of selling put panic in others and caused share price to go even lower to 7.5 cts (all time low).

No one dare to buy at this time of THE GREAT BARGAIN OF THE CENTURY - RM13.00 crashed to a low of 7.5 cts. Like catching falling knives! I managed to pick up 30 lots at 7.5 cts but since this is a time of great panic and uncertainty at T4 I sold it at 8 cts. Our cost is 25 cts to 13 cts.

Some of my Johor buddies picked up a few shares at 8 cts. And one veteran from KN Kenanga Pelangi and another retired teacher picked up PM Corp shares at 9 nine cents. Yesterday I paid a visit to KN Kenanga. Earlier this year he sold some at 18 & 18.5 cts.

I said "You have made good money" at 9 cts entry. He said that he didn't make so much because he bought on margin - and paying 2 years' interest rate. I wish him well - apart from PM Corp he also own many other shares.

9 cents to 10 cts were the locked in range for a long time. Every time when price rebounded above 10 cts PNB came out with huge volume selling and forced it back below 10 cts.
I spoke to Mr. Ho, "PNB selling down PM Corp spoils everything." He replied, "EXACTLY!"

When MUI BERHAD bought over the remaining 4% of PNB at 12 -13 cts - it created great confidence in us JB Investors. Johoreans have bought all the way from 13 cts to 18 cts.

Like human nature everywhere the same not all Johoreans are long term players. Some are short term but I think among us are some who holds a long term view.

Never mind anbz - PM Corp will move up all the WAY! First Target to cross 30 cents, next target 50 cents, next 80 cents, after that RM1.00. And then RM1.50 Is The Target Price!

Over A Long Term - The Target Price will be RM10.00

See DKSH at 32 cents in 2009. Now RM6.50' The DKSH People are now setting their sight at RM10.00. 32 cts to RM10.00? Not what Calvin say. DKSH people say. Check it out

Once I asked the OSK Top Boss about his stock portfolio. He has 3 counters. 1) Guinness 2) PIE & 3) Alaqar Reit.

They are very defensive and give good dividend. Now I don't personally endorse Guinness. He once thought of using his EPF to buy PM Corp at 13 cents.

MP Corp is the only laggard in Iskandar.

All Others I have sold into strength and transfered to PM Corp. They are Daibochi, Apollo Food, Hektar Reit, Alaqar Reit, Pintaras, Ajinomoto, Yee Lee, Naim, KSL, Daiman Kimlun, Crescendo, Tiong Nam Logistic. All Sold & Many Many All Sold

member41 The other 2 shareholders with surname Tan in the Top 30 are not related to me. All my other Johor Investors have 500,000 to 700,000 shares each. Some have only 200,000 to 400,000 shares. Since almost 6 years have passed there is now a core group who are long term investors.

Our Target Price is RM1.50. Some say they will be happy to see 50 cts. While some are told to keep as long as 10 to 20 years as gifts to children & grand children.

Is a target price of RM1.50 realistic?

Posted by aunloke > Oct 21, 2013 08:49 PM | Report Abuse
No wonder you sing so high for pmcorp but let's be realistic if we assume 20% growth for pmcorp food business and after 10 years what would be the earning ? We should then roughly know or estimate its share price, mind you that for the last 10 years its food business was not impressive. However it does not mean that pmcorp has no value , at this price it can easily improve and I'm banging on that to make some money.

Lets take aunloke's assumptions and work out if the target price is achievable.

PMCorp made 8m last financial year. The net income will be about 50m in 10 years time with that 20% growth in NI assumption. with a total number of shares of 773m, EPS would be 6.4 sen. Giving a PE ratio of 10, the fair price is 64 sen. If the market wants to give a PE of 20 because it is such a high growth company, then the fair price is RM1.28. Don't forget PMCorp has a lot of excess cash in properties, cash and investments. If that can amount to 22 sen per share, then RM1.50 is achievable, isn't it?

But don't forget that an assumption of 20% growth rate for 10 years is a very liberal assumption. Business cycles, competitions etc can derail that optimism.>>>

calvin, I have read through all your postings and allow me to drop some comments for the first time.

1) you seem to be a very learned person with vast knowledge in the property sector as well as in reading financial statements
2) you have a very good command of the English language and the words and phrases you use can be easily understood
3) your points are full of logic and at times convincing

On the other hand, in my opinion
a) you have over-played the benefits of the Tudor brand of chocolates which may irritate some people
b) the way you write all the good things about PM Corp may lead to some people having questions about your motive
c) I am not sure how '"good" or "bad" is the company buy I trust kcchongnz's views on this stock

In fact, I am considering to put in RM11,000 (50 lots at 22 sen) and keep, let's say, for a year. In the worst scenario I am prepared to lose
80% of the investment. However if what you say all along is true, the 11K can turn to 30K, 40K or even 50K.

mana gol sagu hati 1 tu dapat?
2012 PW 0.32 is less than PM 1.13 ..mau tanya how many time lagi... tapi 2012 dua-dua profit pun ciput..tak payah tanya...hehe

And 3iii also changed his Identity (ID) as it cannot be used anymore

Only crooks keep changing names, ID, Telephones and address

For 3iii he dares not do these things

1. He never post and reveal his name at all
So even his ID cannot pakai

2. He never dare to post a single recommendation at all

See if he will give a current undervalue stock with current price and expected price?
He cannot: he dares not and he will never do it for once after these 10 long years

Hiding before a veil of secrecy he will bypass all good calls and cherry picks a few non performing ones and start harping day and night

This kind of kaypoh behaviour is very unproductive and a total waste of people's precious time

My dear calvintaneng,

You should learn to be truthful. You knew what happened. Also, I explained why I had to change from 3iii to the present.

Never mind, I shall clarify once again, since it is so obviously important to calvintaneng. Someone cloned my ID 3iii and started posting using the same 3iii. I had to change it to 3iii (iiinvestsmart). It was cloned again and I had to modify this to Integrity. Intelligent. Industrious. 3iii (iiinvestsmart). This was again cloned and abused. It finally stopped when I used: Integrity. Intelligent. Industrious. 3iii (iiinvestsmart)$€£¥

Adding the last few non-alphabets stopped this abuser. Now that I have explained, hope calvintaneng will be at peace and not imply anything else. Flattery is to see your ID being cloned, so goes the saying but it was probably just someone abusing the privileges of participating in this forum and not behaving himself. :-)

SHARE PRICE CROSSED 22 SEN ON 3/10/2013 AND ROSE TO THE HIGHEST OF 35.5 SEN ON 11.11.2013.
ON 18/3/2014, THE PRICE HAD DROPPED TO 22 SEN.
WE CAN CONCLUDE THAT MANY NEW PLAYERS WHO WERE IN THIS STOCK FROM 3/10/2013 TO 18/3/2014 (5 MONTHS PERIOD) DID NOT MAKE MONEY FROM THIS STOCK.

calvintaneng of Netx fame promoted PMCorp at 15 sen on 20/9/2012 as he posted. Yet, I believe the majority of those who invested into this counter AFTER his recommendation or promotion, probably LOST money. Do you agree, Calvintan?

I think it was KC Chong who wrote a statement that it was unwise to act on tips received on investment. Always do your own due diligence.

Blog: 10 ANNIVERSARY IN i3 INVESTOR FORUM (LOOKING AT PM CORP PERFORMACE) Calvin Tan

When Calvintaneng created this thread, it was an interesting heading. He obviously was highlighting his 10 years involvement in i3 and in particular highlight PM Corp performance.

My study of investor behaviour and psychology means another wealth of information on this topic can be gained from studying his posts in the early years of his involvement in i3, particularly in PM Corp promotion.

Not surprisingly, it was a treasure house to study behavioural finance.

I was interested to understand what happened to PM Corp before calvintaneng's promotion, during his promotion and after his promotion of PMCorp. Also, how the readers reacted. How sophisticated were those who followed calvintaneng? How did they make their investing decisions? How good was calvintaneng's PREDICTION or PROMOTION of this stock? Given his unopposed promotion, how effective was his style? How easily or how difficult it was to promote a stock? How many contrarian views? (Actually, I discovered during the early period, very few actually. But the few who expressed were very good, in particular, Fabien. I subsequently studied Fabien's approach in investing from his/her posts in this site.)

For the early posts of PMCorp now being ?deleted or ?not accessible, just points to only one thing. calvintaneng was not proud for his early promotion of PMCorp to be revealed and dissected objectively and factually.

There he goes again, just promoting and as Mr. See mentioned, boasting.

To our administrator in i3

My thanks to you on your thankless role.

However, our administrator in i3 should be more careful in looking at issues from many aspects before complying to requests of one group or another. I have never flagged any one in this i3 forum. If they are proud of their postings, they should let these remain forever. If they are not proud of their postings, why posted in the first place?
