Report from RHB about PWC project:
1. Earnings impact will come from FY14 onwards.
2. The JV co is expected to obtain the A&P license in Aug.
3. Bookings will then be gradually converted into sales. The first phase of PWC Phase 1 (GDV of MYR610m) have achieved an average booking rate of 70-80% at an average price of MYR700 psf.
4. The recent preview of City Residence has also received an encouraging booking rate of 80%.
5. Land value on the Penang island is expected to rise further as IJMLD and E&O make announcements on their projects in 2H.

As share price performance since last quater:
Ivory $0.505 (Feb, 21) to $0.775 (May, 21), up 53%
Dijaya Corp $1.30 (Feb, 21) to $1.94 (May, 21), up 49%

KUALA LUMPIUR: Malaysia Airports Holding Bhd (MAHB) said the opening of klia2, the new low-cost carrier terminal in Sepang, Selangor, will be delayed.

The RM4 billion terminal was scheduled to open on June 28.

MAHB said after a board meeting yesterday the management is of the view that the contractors for klia2 may have difficulties in meeting the June 28 deadline.

This is despite the commitment given by the contractors, MAHB said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

The main contractors for the klia2 project is UEM Construction Sdn Bhd, a unit of UEM Group Bhd, and joint-venture partner, Bina Buri Holdings Bhd.

"MAHB will be meeting the contractors again soon to confirm the ability of the contractors to meet the deadline," it said.

The airport operator did not indicate when klia2 will open or whether there will be a cost overrun.

CIMB Research has estimated that any delay will result in higher construction cost of around RM4.5 billion for the airport and lower commercial earnings for the aiport operator.

JAKARTA, Indonesia -- A Lion Air plane carrying more than 100 passengers overshot a runway on the Indonesian resort island of Bali on Saturday and crashed into the sea, police said.

Bali Police Chief Arif Wahyunadi told local TV One that all of the passengers and crew were evacuated from the plane and taken into the airport terminal for treatment.

Hospital officials and paramedics said at least seven passengers were taken to Sanglah hospital with head wounds and broken bones. Many passengers arrived with wet clothes and bruises.

The Transportation Ministry's director general of aviation, Harry Bakti Gumay, said the plane overshot the runway and fell into the sea from a height of about 50 meters (55 yards). The cause of the accident was unclear, and Gumay said an investigation was under way.
