With the continued weakness of the ringgit, we are confident Hevea will be able to achieve and possibly exceed our FY15 EPS forecast, which is based on RM3.60/US$ vs. 3.80 now. The announcement of strong 2QFY15 results at end-Aug should validate our belief and further re-rate the stock. Our sensitivity analysis suggests that every 1% appreciation of the US$ increases FY15 EPS by 7.6%. Investors should continue accumulating the stock. We believe that investors will continue to reward US$ plays in 2015-16. We expect Hevea to turn net cash by end-15, putting it in a strong position to increase its dividends substantially.

Moody's: Malaysian banking system 'stable' over the next 12-18 months.
KUALA LUMPUR (May 26): The Malaysian banking system is expected to be stable over the next year and a half despite an expected deterioration in operating environment as well as profitability and efficiency, a report by Moody’s Investors Service Inc revealed today.
In a statement, the credit rating agency said it has maintained a stable outlook on the Malaysian banking system since May 2013.
Moody's vice president and senior analyst Simon Chen said the key drivers of the ratings agency’s stable outlook on the Malaysian banking system are the banks’ strong capital and stable funding levels, as well as Moody’s expectation of a continued high degree of government support.
"These positive factors offset a moderate deterioration in the banks' operating environment and profitability profiles," he said on the release of Moody's report titled "Banking System Outlook Malaysia".
The report underlined Moody's expectation of how bank creditworthiness will evolve in Malaysia's banking system over the next 12 to 18 months, and looks at the system in terms of five factors: operating environment (which is classified as ‘deteriorating’); asset quality and capital
(‘stable’); funding and liquidity (‘stable’); profitability and efficiency (‘deteriorating’); and systemic support (‘stable’).
On the banks' operating environment, Moody's report said system-wide credit growth should register 8% to 9% in 2015, down from 10% in 2014, on the back of slower gross domestic product (GDP) growth in Malaysia (A3 positive) of 4.8% from 6% in the same periods.
Moody's report pointed out the government has reduced expenditures and expanded revenue sources — for example, by removing fuel subsidies in December 2014 and introducing a goods and services tax (GST) in April 2015 — which will help stabilise the country's fiscal position without arresting a decline in growth, which negatively affects the operating environment for banks.
Despite the challenging operating environment, Moody’s said asset quality should remain broadly stable over the next 12 to 18 months.
High household debt levels, however, pose risks if unemployment rises, property prices fall, or interest rates rise, it said, adding that the risk is to 57% of total bank loans that are extended to households.
Still, it expects stability in Malaysia's low unemployment rates to partially offset the risk of higher household loan delinquency rates.
It also noted that bank capital levels are strong and can absorb the losses in its stress test scenarios, though profitability will deteriorate over the next 12 to 8 months, given that credit costs will normalise from historically low levels.
In addition, margins will fall because of the stronger competition for time deposits and high-quality liquid assets due to the introduction of new Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) requirements starting in June 2015.
Nevertheless, it said Malaysia's capacity to provide support to banks in times of stress is strong, as the government's fiscal reforms have bolstered resilience to cyclical commodity price shocks.
Moody's rates a total of 11 banks in Malaysia: eight conventional commercial banks, one investment bank, one Islamic bank, and one government-owned development financial institution. They collectively accounted for 75% of Malaysian banking-system assets at end-2014.
