My bad luck for not following my own rules - making losses the very next day (both limit down) when I bought Solutions Bhd and Vis Dynamic Bhd (both Ace Market counters then).

Self discipline is vital. It wouldn't guarantee success but at least it may help to avoid heavy losses.

I am one of the very small fish in Bursa. My own very basic rules of investing:

1) Buy low and sell high. - that only leave me to think about how low is low ...

There is another saying quite similar to this : You only have to take care of the bottom and let Mr Market take care of the top.

2) Button my profit soonest possible and cut loss when I could sense the first sign of danger. - I normally buy at very low transacted volume and would sell when there is a sudden surge in volume. I preferred MACD over RSI for this.

I never trade IFCAMSC Bhd. But if I had, I think I could avoid the heavy trading losses if I stick to my rule.

One of my best performance was Johore Tin Bhd - reaping handsome profit during the period March 2012 - Dec 2012 (ranging from 94 Sen to about RM1.95) when I sensed that she was following the foot-step of Canone Bhd venturing into dairy business. I totally ignored about her when OSK (now RHB IB) excluded her in the top small cap pick in subsequently year. No look back.

A fisherman knows that the sea is dangerous and the storm horrible, but these perils are not sufficient reasons for him to remain ashore.

An about-drowned boy would grip on anything that would keep him afloat even if what he embraces is only a rotten tree branch.

Needless to say, trading and investing in equity market is very risky.

To me TA is more than just a life buoy, a life-saving tool. It is good to learn some TA skills while looking for a lighthouse if you are at sea (In this context, if one still like to be involve in equity market).

Or was that because of LPI Cap Bhd's disposal of Public Bank Bhd's shares in the open market?

If this is true, then it is another evidence that our equity market is sentimentally driven.

And it shows that, at times, both FA (based on historical information and data) and TA (based on predicted market forces) had failed miserably, at least as far as Globetronics Bhd, is concerned.

It worth to note that Globetronics Bhd's shares were sold at heavy losses before the release of her quarter results engendering UMA query by Bursa.

In TA, this is a typical 'Resistance turned Support' phenomenon.

Fundamentally, she has no interest-bearing loans and borrowings which could make head-turns on her.

Increasing revenues, increasing EPS, increasing dividend payments and holding a cash pile of RM17 million as of 31Dec2015, who would dare to tag or label her 'orang kurang upaya' or OKU?

Undeniably, I trade on this common stock based on my meagre TA skill and knowhow, but otherwise, who would want to ignore this unpolished gem?

Just like Kawan Food Bhd, who would have noticed her when she was being transacted at RM1.70 - RM1.80 ranges and no research team would even take a look at her then.

Perhaps, her hidden beauty is now being unearthed by the genuine and wise investors who do not always rely on research houses' recommendations.

Yes. She is no more a 'Sleeping Beauty' but a 'Charming and Radiant Beauty Queen'.

While OKA Corp has approached the historical high of RM1.08 and in the verge of setting (possibly), waves and waves of historical new highs, I do not see any of my acquaintance bee-lining here to make remarks, let alone the usual Heng-ar, Ong-ar and Huat-ar.

Some analysts were already showing interest in plantation stocks, foretelling that CPO could fast approaching the RM2,650+ level.

If this prediction or early trend detection is not-too-far off target, I might buy more shares of Kim Loong Resources Bhd which is both a cash-rich and quite a high dividend yield mid-cap plantation stock.
