@ calvintaneng, For Bplant, please check their FFB per Ha, OER and so on before you comments . For long terms investment (as you always said) in plantation. We are looking for most efficient plantation company and can consistent pay good dividend. We are not looking for those lousy (i m not saying Bplant & TSH) especially those need to sell land or other asset then only can pay dividend company.

Someone’s comments in this forum is nothing new and nothing is creative. He is just like a point taker, keep repeating the same facts everyday& everywhere as following:

1) OWNER BOUGHT ITS OWN SHARE – as I comments previously , what is the big deals? What is there so surprise? like 母鸡生蛋[hen lays eggs]， Everyone is knowing 母鸡生蛋[hen lays eggs]. 2) ITS NTA & ITS INTRINSIC VALUE – again, what is there so “freshness” ? This is public information, right? Everyone also can get it from Bursa announcement. Do you think public or market don’t know how to value TSH, if not, why market pricing in @ RM 1.00 recently
3) TAKE OVER OFFER- AS MINORITY SHAREHOLDER - of course we want the company continue to be listed and growing from generation to another generation, so that we can growth together with them. Tak kan you buy share @RM 1.80 or RM1.70 or RM 1.60 or RM 1.40 or @ RM 1.00 , then “hope” it can be take over @ RM 3 or RM 5 in the “future”? Must well you buy Jackpot and “hope” you can win the big prizes

The Board of Directors of Cypark Resources Berhad wishes to announce that RAM Rating Services Berhad has reaffirmed the long-term rating of AA3 for Cypark Ref Sdn. Bhd.’s RM550 million SRI Sukuk Murabahah Programme (2019/2041) via its letter dated 26 May 2022.

The AA3 rating indicates high safety for payment of financial obligations. The rating outlook is maintained at negative to reflect RAM Ratings’ concerns of extended construction delays for the two floating solar plants at Danau Tok Uban beyond its stressed timeline.

RAM Ratings' rating assessment has also considered the extraordinary resolution notice that was circulated to the sukukholders on 23 May 2022. These changes, including modifications to the transaction terms and payment structure, are not averse to the issue rating.

The reaffirmation of rating at AA3 is expected to provide confidence to sukukholders to support the proposed amendments in the extraordinary resolution favourably.

This announcement is dated 27 May 2022.

Recently, I attend a local fund talk. That fund said something abt United Plantation:
1. Utdplt’s ASP was below the MPOB avg( MPOB avg ASP in 2021: RM 4,407; UP: RM 3,309 ; MPOB avg ASP in 2020: RM 2,686; UP: RM 2,613) due to forward sales executed for a portion of its production. So, it will result in lower ASP in a rising market, as opposed to higher ASP in a falling market
2. Utdplt’s forward sale policy is prudent as no one can time the peaks and troughs of CPO price precisely.
3. When CPO price falls, it will be able to report higher than Avg prices, and this will lead to a less volatile earnings and dividend pattern
4. Even though the palm oil business is volatile and cyclical, Utdplt has in the past managed to grow its earnings and raised its dividend pay-out steadily and that fund expects Utdplt to continue with this fine performance in the years to come

That fund view that long-term fundamentals of the palm oil business have changed structurally due to:
1. It is very difficult for Malaysia’s CPO output to back to its peak
2. The high growth rate in Indonesia’s CPO output is over
3. The planting growth era is over, implying that supply growth in the long term will be an issue
4. Automation and mechanisation in the palm oil industry have been difficult to achieve.
