吉隆坡22日讯）OCR公司（OCR，7071，主板消费产品股）宣布以总值40万令吉，收购Visi Anggun 产业（简称VA产业）有限公司40万股或80%股权。

OCR公司今日发表文告，将以内部集资，通过独资子公司Grand Superland有限公司完成上述收购活动。

根据文告，VA产业11月3日获得来自马来西亚回教科学大学（USIM）意向书，为后者进行可容纳共4200名学生的两项宿舍建设、经营、转让（build-operate-transfer，简称BOT）项目，及拥有400张床位的教学医院大楼BOT项目。

在OCR公司成为VA产业的最大股东后，该公司将会负责上述项目的设计、建设和经营工作。

不过，文告并没有提及项目详情，包括总发展值以及项目期限。

文告也补充，VA产业剩余股权，由Inventive资源有限公司持股15%，和莫哈末尼占迦迪持有5%。

OCR公司董事经理王家豪指出，VA产业收购活动符合公司多元化业务经营策略，加强盈利表现。

I suppose that Tekseng is just a solar panel assembler, once photovoltaic solar cells fall in price, the cost of assembled solar panel would be cheaper, so with the labour cost in ringgit,Malaysian assembled solar panel would be more competitive in international market place...I still remember the first solar panel ( 1x 3 feet )I sold was at RM 2600 per panel in 1982...that system with inverter and battery was installed at kampung orang asli near Gombak.

Mr Koon Yew Yin is assertive and aggressive in his stock investing, he did well in VS industry, Latitude and Liihen ( I extrapolated his profit is in the range of 120 to 140 million ringgit).. but he did badly in Xingquan ( I extrapolated his loss is in the range of 40 to 60 million ringgit)...

Mr KC ChongNZ is thorough and cautious in his stock investing.....he helped many from losing unnecessary in stock market.

I suspect the boss did some strategic adjustment like OCR and Hiaptek.
The purpose is to accumulate some at low price through proxy accounts ,and sell them at good price when Q4 results is announced after cny.

The main purpose of right issue is to discourage the retailers to subscribe for it ,so Mayland can get excess shares at low price as indicated to be around 21 sen each.

why you never go for OCR PA ? a non-burnt warrant with conversion price of 1 ocr pa + 45 sen while ocr wc with conversion price of 50 sen...i think you are ignorant of this ocr pa .

The hidden agenda of the right issue is to discourage the retailers to subscribe for it , so Mayland can easily increases its stake to about 60% as indicated at minimum scenario...(please take note that ,the indicative right issue price is 21 sen)..FYI ,Mayland has increased its stake to about 32% CHEAPLY through right issue of LA about 3 years ago, because retailers has same complaints,many ended up not subscribing for it.Beside their own entitlement , Mayland has took the opportunity to buy about 100 millions LR from open market at about 4.5 sen each, in addition to that, Mayland acquired about another 57 millions LA through excess application.. that was the first time I saw a majority shareholder of a company applied for EXCESS in my 30 years history in stock market.
