However, I managed to SELL my Teraoka in Japan after 2 limit ups, at ¥3,000 OVER & above the takeover level of ¥564, the BIGGEST payday in 2023(& the biggest since Nov 18, '21 when another of my Japan picks, Sekonic, was taken over)! There's always a possibility they will increase the price on a takeover attempt, as happened for my Mintye(2019), OldTown(2018), Selangor Ppties(2017) & M'sia Packaging(2016)! 🤗

Confirmed no physical AGM so NO door gift! Looks like I can sell below 1,000 shares after ex-div without missing out on any potential voucher!🤗 It's a bit ironic that I bought my first 1k @ $1.60 in 2014 just for the voucher, then increased it to 13.633k by Nov '22...

Because I was forced to sell a portion of shares 2 wks ago but didn't want to miss out on the dividend, I bought back half of the stake I sold last week @ below $1.39 or more than 10c cheaper than the sold price. Hopefully will go back above $1.60!

Got the Oldtown cheque for $3.50 per shr in mid-2018. Unfortunately it was only for 100 shares, bought to attend the AGMs in '15,'16 & '17. Today, a Japanese forumer in Yahoo Japan forums wrote(translated):

Quite disappointed that I was unable to capitalize on this takeover(having held a stake since 2020) as I SOLD too early, before the rise from 4 to 4.90. HOWEVER, my faith in Japanese takeover targets is paying off today as my biggest long position, in Teraoka Seisakusho, bought @ ¥499 in Dec '19 & averaged down @ ¥400 in Mar '21 & finally ¥311 in Mar '23, is subject to a BUYOUT offer @ ¥564 after the Tokyo close, 48% above my average cost & after already having received 8 dividends totalling over ¥10,000...

Candlestick chart is almost a carbon copy of Su-MATI-c's bearish engulfing in Sep '14 after they goreng to a peak of 63.5c. After that my MBB dealer said he had a client who kept on averaging down until he spent over $500,000 & was holding at an average 18c. soon9913 is right: Of the 4 cos. only Knusford has significant upside of +30-129% based on the terms of the proposals with far less floating scrip giving it a far more attractive alpha .

This is gonna be the 1st time it trades > 1 mil shares since 15 Feb 2007. Tracking the the Top 30 shareholders since 2013, I estimate the free float to be only 16.6 mil shrs, probably less & in contrast to IWCity (9.24X more tickets) & Ekovest(29.75X more tickets), it will be very, very easy to corner & drive up the price to a reasonable 80% of the proposed pegging price ($2.20) while waiting for the board approvals to be obtained, with a 99% likelihood of success...

Someone's $2.99 cost price will never see a profit...never...you can betcha life on it!

Being an owner of 16k shrs in Knusfor, I initially was shocked by the low issue price but on reading the FINE PRINT, left out of all the news portals' reports(perhaps deliberately???), saw these words: Knusford shall, UNDERTAKE A SHARE SPLIT EXERCISE, to arrive at an AUDITED NET ASSETS PER SHARE...of 60c per share as at 31 Mar '23...the proposed issue price for the...Merger...The issue price...FIXED BASED ON KNUSFORD'S AUDITED NET ASSETS PER SHARE as at 31 Mar '23 AFTER ADJUSTED for the SHARE SPLIT EXERCISE(of which figure is over 3X higher than the mkt price)

Also, in Eko's qtrly report, I gleaned that ECSB had a revenue of over $180mil & profit of $19 mil last qtr, which, based on Knusford's issued tickets, could potentially see an EPS of 45-76c pre-split & issuance.

Bought another biji Toto @ 1.55, ensuring that I will receive the highest qtrly dividend EVAH from this co. of 333!!!🤗

Oil is on the way UPPPP to $100 again after a brief consolidation....if Dayang is too expensive relative to NTA, do consider Naim which holds almost a quarter of Dayang shares worth significantly more than its entire net-cash-net-net market cap on top of being in the HOT property sector!

Bought more Knusfor @ the 60+c range last wk, betting that this construction/property stock will follow Ekovest/IWCity soon...
