Bought more @ 1.50, bringing my stake to over 12,000 shrs for the very first time.

This kinda sleep-walking cap ayam mkt...with the exception of this co. & it's associate, most stocks already cannot be played, no tks to endemic corruption & widespread chicanery! Thank God I have shifted a significant proportion of my funds to the Tokyo bourse, where the players aren't poor like these Najib/JhoLow/Molayuhiddin-songlapped Bursa players. Go where the highest profile billionaires & money managers are pouring their $ & not where many of them have abandoned...

So elevated also ppl want to chase...lol...I hang on tightly to my 3+ lots @ 1.13 cost which was losing $$$ for soooo long & let others fight over huge no. of outstanding tickets at nearly DOUBLE what I paid.

SOLD just under 1/3 of my re-purchased HapSeng @ 4.15 & 4.16 just now( re-bought 1 biji @ 5.19 after exiting @ 6.47 on the last trading day of '22, then 1 @ 4.28, 2 @ 3.62 & the last 2 @ 3.47, bringing the average to just under 4.00). Collected the last dividend that offset all the trading commissions, & today reached the 767th consecutive trading day with a capital gain: mission accomplished!!!🤗

Fortunately, as for Panamy yesterday, I SOLD 36% of my MahSing averaged down from 86c to 77c this year @ 81 & 81.5c this morning. Liberate more capital, receive more dividend than I did last year AND earn a small capital gain, the 766th consecutive day of such income!🤗

SOLD 2/3 of my Panamy stake @ $21.15 average(since my cost has been dragged down to $20.40), knowing that the price will overadjust on the downside on the ex-divvy date tomorrow....Thanks for 765 days in a row of at least one capital gain...on a special Anniversary!

Too soon to set tgt...bought more @ 32 & 32.5c, bringing my stake to 118,800 shrs.

Cash-strapped EPF is selling & stocks like this will bear the brunt since they are ex. Anything above $21 is overvalued & since quite a long way to the next divvy & CPO meandering aimlessly, better wait for $20 or below.

Tokyo trading @ $1.47 equivalent so maybe it will settle around $1.47-1.50. Today, my OKI Electric is one of the hot stocks there on news it's collaborating with megacap Shin-Etsu Chemical to produce low-cost materials for power semiconductors with their jointly-developed technology...no need to rely on poverty-limited M'sia for my daily bread🤗

SOLD the remainder of my IWCity @ 80c...Gd luck to all those who still follow the pied P&D piper towards the river! A certain Jap's $2.99 shares will never ever make $$$ ever...but that is just my opinion...😉

YTL shares in JPN now trading @ a discount to KL...but something else incredible happened there: finally SOLD my 3-wk-old long position in Daiwa Heavy(大和重工) after 3 limit-ups in the past 5 sessions, including this morning! I specifically asked my IB dealer to put in a standing SELL order at the limit up ¥2,010 & it got done at the open!!! Cost was ¥822 & so I need not wait out today's Merdeka holiday on my journey to financial freedom from slavery!🤗

Averaged down @ 31.5c, bringing my holdings to 113,000 shrs.

Although the speed & magnitude of YTL's rise in '23 has been nothing short of mind-blowing(to me anyway), it's unlikely to drop much below $1.5 if it corrects because the funds responsible for this move(sorry, not talking about you, EPF🤣) believe Francis' promise of a 7-9c dividend next year & they apparently think this co. has great earnings visibility at least 2-5 years down the road. So the all-time '11 high of 2.12 may not be so impossible after all. To put it in context, if I were to sell my remaining shares now, YTL would instantly leapfrog a S'porean stock & a Japanese stock to the TOP of my 2023 earnings tables, ahead of 92 other stocks earned from this year. Surprising given that my investment here was in paper loss continuously from 2016 till May '23!

China is facing deflating property like what Japan endured from 1992 to 2012. The tourist numbers will shrink significantly going forward & the still huge glut of hotels with more lower-end tourists eg backpackers & outstation locals will ensure 4-star & below hotels will do far better than 5-star & above. Aberdeen's 30mil shrs left remain a Damocles sword hanging over the price since there is unlikely going to be a dividend for at least a year & they can sell & switch to much better, greater potential shares. This danger is more pronounced given the fact that funds can now get a virtually risk-free 5% or greater return sitting in cash.

A very nice qtrly report! Revenue up 8%, Y-o-Y EPS almost doubled. Net-net has increased by 2.67c / shr. Fwd P/E is under 10x 🤗

Re-entered the stake that I partially SOLD on the last day b4 ex-divvy...have been trading profitably in & out of this fella since 2014 AND receiving all the dividends since then...🤗

As I promised to myself weeks ago, I haven't sold a single share since the day the price spiked in Japan. My remaining holdings more than DOUBLED my average cost finally ! 🤗🤗

If there's another chance to get 12.5c or lower...I am gonna GRAB it!

I bought the above stock for ¥822 eighteen days ago...Natsuko's home market is more profitable for me..too bad she already abandoned it 😂

This fella is a really occasional performer! Last big moves UP were in 2011 & 2014. Reminds me of my latest Tokyo-listed purchase Daiwa Heavy: went up significantly (but briefly) in 2013 & 2017 & then mostly flatlined for the last few years. Been stalking it almost since I started in Japan, but baulked from the BUY trigger since it wasn't a Ben Graham stock....until I saw the first 'high' volume signal on Aug 10th that I instinctively felt (but could not know for sure) was the beginning of the next move up. KSL gave a similar signal of breakout readiness on 8th Aug after a parallel 18-month consolidation pattern but I bought it several weeks prior in readiness for an anticipated breakout.

On Fri, Daiwa Heavy was one of ONLY TWO Japanese counters to LIMIT UP out of 5,400 stocks+ listed in Tokyo, even as the Nikkei plunged 663 points!😃

Ya...MRCB also longkang stock which I collected relentlessly from 2018 till early this year, pulling my average down to 38c. SOLD all of it(except 2 lots) from 40-43c recently to switch buy more L&G...longkang that pays dividend(or sometimes not) will eventually earn a nice return...same with longkang Huaan in '17-'18 & longkang AHB fr '19-'20🤣

YTL also considered longkang stock until early this year...😂 Earn huge $$$ from all the above!

On a down DOWWWNNNN day, Panamy upgrades from 3rd Top Gainer to tied-2nd TOP GAINER again...actually de facto top gainer with MCement coz Allianz-PA is illiquid & unrealisable @ these low volumes✌✌
