Ms Carrot, you're are so lucky - only 19/20 you already play stocks but be very careful. Good thing for you is that you have 2 of the best here - KCLOh ( his brother too KCFan :)) and CPTeh. KC is fundamental person and Cp is a trader. Of course KC is very much safer and always looking at mid/long term and relatively safe bet. He is also known as the Warren Buffett of Malaysia assuming you know who WB is:) CP is very good but remember he is a trader - in and out very fast so might not be suitable for you. good thing is he does not like 'goreng' stocks :) and KNM is a goreng stock! He is for you you to learn pointers. So there you go learn from these 2 and you'll go very far! All the best to you. dun stay up to late as your 'mummy' KC loh is watching you:)

Hehe KC .Noted with thanks :)- wah so many 'experts' that you mentioned and it's about time to exit. actually I've been planning a while and cleared some of my proftable or really lousy ones - the ones I'm holding even if markets drops sharply will have small effect but not too great of a concern. Yes I remember the firesale rule :) Just try to ride till the fat lady stop singing or buying her hermes bags! You know the market has been holding very well despite euro crisis, slow growth etc - all the effects from QE! The day I'm out is when I see the laggards start moving fast as the blue chips seems pretty toppish. also you notice one thing when these so call experts call a shot right ( does not matter if they were way off countless times ) they'll be making their presence felt daily but when they're wrong (most times) - you hardly hear from them and the minute if they are right again boom out of nowhere -I'm back! :)If yu can't beat them might as well join them!

nah dun worry but thanks for the concern. I don't really speculate. even on pennies but only 2 or 3 that have promises and stable. I'm not into buffet and the ones they goreng are just too much for me as I eat very little! - small appetite:)

Yungsheng1 - Hard to say because like KC mentioned the surge is because of the good results which is right. Also knm has been oversold so a big surge on thu is about time especialy when you have decent earnings. Very important is Petersborough because it's more than 50% of the order book with decent margins. I believe if the project takes off assuming knm does not have a big stake in it, the price will easily surpass 1.00 when you see the earnings coming in. Also knm still have a huge tenderbook and so far did not clinch any projects yet and assuming a success rate of 20% you'll see the numbers. Legacy contracts are almost done which is always a good thing as it drags the margins. all in all I see good things ahead if all goes according to plan but at this time it's fair valued to me only now because everything is still uncertain except the results earnings which is good partly because of the higher margins,tax incentive from borsig that you have to give considerations as it expire end this year. we hope for the best and let the management do the rest! I dun know whether the price will go up and down - only General Lee can tell you that :) good luck to you and the rest. be safe always and I like to quote KC - give yourself plenty of margins due to the uncertainties.

yep knm got many loyal followers - becareful of what you post if you don't want to be shot! it was a high flying stock with spectacular growth back in the days. Some are still holding at above 5. only time will tell if it ever will go up that high again but I'm certainly not betting against it especially in Bolihland. Macam macam pun bolih. that's is why I'm very proud of myself when people ask where I'm from and when I answered malaysia the one that knows always have a sly smile on their face because our politicians especially the ruling ones always managed up their stupidity level constantly! no yung sheng1 friend worked at knm - he did not mentioned who or what position ( could be a big timer - though I doubt it or some fella welding the process equipments?) - he did mentioned some projects on the way and something in sabah - the only one I know of in sabah is the collaboration with Zecon and it already expired just a few days ago - hopefully not another one of lee's stunt. Lee is famous for pulling stunts and picking heaven figures. he was so busy buying out his own company at one point that he totally lost focus on what knm should be doing.
Anyway, what got my attention was Yung sheng claiming that the stock will go to 2.50 a few months back - maybe it still might but will need a lot of positive happenings and I mean a lot like really really A LOT. but then Like you said never underestimate mr market - it can do the unthinkable and come back and bite you really hard. for me lesson learnt :) see I'm trying to be on the safe side. when you're in a bull market anything can happen. the stock is at a all time low of .18s as of now before they convert back to 4:1 and most of the major holders already cashed out and just need some fuel and fire and will be up up in the sky

Ching thanks for the kind words but PLEASE dun learn from me - The right person is KCLOH. For me I believe there's still some upside as to contracts wins,better margins etc. when announcement of closing of Peterpan is made it will surged past .90! honestly I dun see many downside to the low price of .56. it will still have to prove itself on the sustainable margins and earnings in the next few quarters. Borsig has been contributing well to KNM despite the slowdown and part of the reason for the debt is that it was the purchased of borsig. The gearing/debt part like KC mentioned is worriesome but if the margins and profits are on the mend I dun see much problem. they're also addressing this from the right issues as it will pay part of the loans from it.
Haha yungsheng1 should buy KC makan from his profits as KC spent a lot of time researching this stock that he does not even own:)

dun worry guys it's the long weekend and after the huge surge need a little break. yeah KC -great analysis better than those dumb anal lysts who cover this stock. Million $ ???? The important thing is that they need the close of peter pan - looks that way since they got backing from Exim even though on the first part only. Peterpan is a huge project and comprise more than 50% of their orderbook.funny the guidance margin was over 30% when first announce and now 25 but still better than the legacy that they're almost done. Borsig looks good despite the tough enviroment in Europe. knm guidance - thats the scary part - I've followed them and their guidance is always way off - hopefully this time mgmt will guide correctly.Dividen? - furget about it and even if they declare any it will not be the 50% that they mentioned earlier- that is why I dun like this company - lousy management. all in all despite much uncertainties things are looking better for knm. worth watching closely for further development.
