How your math good and study how much history statistic report also cannot guarantee. So result = statistic (guarantee factor) + hope (not guarantee factor). For me, I more believe investing pitfall is due to too optimistic + no sell target price setting.

The consolidation will become large, if the whole market change to bearish. Dont forget our index is quite high now. So who buy on high price, you still can hold, but take your risk.
