Thanks for sharing. Look like demand is strong. Other than traditional markets, we have strong new demand from China.

Let put it in another word, if Liihen can produce an EPS even greater than its previous quarter (even though i highly doubt it can do that). Hahaha :-)
If it really produce EPS worse than last year, just cut loss.

Whenever bnm cut rate, i do think they will cut more than once. Looking forward for a few more cuts in Q4 2016 and early 2017.

@tradminator if you buy LiiHen purely due to the strength of USD, you should play forex.
2016-07-14 13:43 | Report Abuse
@tradminator you are right but I do believe they will diversify their investment. Prior to interest rate hike in December 2015, a lot of foreign fund already invested in USD.
2016-07-14 12:43 | Report Abuse
@tradminator When BNM cut interest rate, ringgit will weaken. However, due to Brexit, large amount of foreign fund is looking place to invest. This suggested why ringgit still strengthen when bnm cut interest rate. A lot of people underlook Malaysia economy due to its political instability.

How good if Pohuat does the same as LiiHen by categorizing its revenues based on countries. Then we will know how much revenues are derived from United States.

For my opinion, I think its book value is low is mainly because LiiHen hires alot of subcontractors. I think their factories or assets are not belong to LiiHen. That's why LiiHen's asset value is abit low.
"Besides their own factories, they have about 30 small subcontractors nearby. Most of them are making furniture parts which will be assembled, polished and painted by their own factories. Using subcontractors is the most efficient way to save cost and time. Lii Hen does not need to provide and maintain factory space. The subcontractors just extended their garages and work from there."

As expected, when oil prices increases, US oil rig count also increases. It's hard to make a bull case for oil. More mining workers back to work > US labor market strengthening > US consumer spending remain robust > US retail sales increases > Interest rate hike > Stronger USD.
Long bull case for USD.

Consider dividend given is 0.04 cent. Let say you have 10lots, you will get RM40.
Consider year close price is RM3.39. % yield = 40/3390 = 1.18%.
Theoretically, it should just decrease by 1.18%. Today, close price should be around 3.33 ~ 3.35.
Well, technically saying. HAHA

Ya. Looking at April homes sales, i expect LiiHen will get more orders.
Even when oil prices is increasing, it might be positive for labor market as well as mining sector will start increasing activity, hence hiring more workers. So i think the upside limitation for oil price is huge. Which mean it will limit the upside for ringgit as well.
Just for your convenient.

US labor market is still strong. Bad report last week's Friday might due to the strike of Verizon's workers and now it is resolved. After Brexit, US Fed is all set to raise the interest rate soon.

You can take some profits and hold some. Free warrants are anticipated as suggested by Mr.KYY. Future prospect is still good as US economy is still strong looking at robust consumer spending in April.
From the way KYY described LiiHen management and marketing strategy, it is really efficient and cost saving. The way they distribute their products to the US importers and how they subcontract their jobs.

The fall in unemployment rate is not due to more people have the jobs but it is due to more people have given up looking for jobs.
"Why did unemployment rate drop: Not for good reasons. More Americans stopped looking for work and fell out of the workforce. That means they aren't counted in the labor force and that brings down the jobless rate. In recent months, more Americans had been coming back into the job market. Now the trend appears to be hitting a plateau."
