Lionind needs to keep selling asset to repay its debt.

Easy, only Ann Joo has no cash flow problem. Other steel companies are still struggling to pay debt. Hence, only Ann Joo can pay out dividend.

Thanks for point out that the reason to apply safeguard duties is still valid. Chinese steel might be cheaper again, it's safer to apply safeguard duties to protect the local steel companies.

Lol, US only export to neighbour countries dude. Do your research properly. Up to you guys because it's your money. When annjoo price at 2.6~2.7, it is very obviously, the demand is very weak. Now after the supply and demand readjusted, i am more comfortable to get in.

Breached 10% correction from the peak, now all the way to rm3.5. Safeguard duties renew or not is not an issue anymore. China steels are selling at rm2300 ~ rm2400

Remember for every buyer, there is a seller and vice versa. Good QR triggers huge demand from the public which allows big players to unload their shares. As you can see here, the peaks are always after a good qr is announced.
Now, it is vice versa, bad qr triggers supply from the public but who gonna absorb those supplies? Think yourself. Big players always buy when the news is bad and sell when the news is good. It is merely the principle of supply and demand.

"What so cool labout this hybrid BF-EAF technology ; there able to consumer less natural gas to operate where give them lowest impact when natural gas price hike; second this super cool furnace able to to opte the raw mat to feed into the furnace blast to produce the steel which mean Annjoo able to choose scrap material or iron ore as raw mat whenever which is cheaper they will purchase that. Currently there are using scrap steel due to cheaper source as IRON ORE price surge alot"
Are you really sure about this? I dont think so.

Stock operators collect before news and sell once news is out. They hold alot of shares and it is easy to unload them when demand is high especially news is out.

@ahsoo I prefer to look at the date when they are buying back the shares. For example, 5th of July, they bought back some shares. The question is by that time they should kind of know their 2nd quarter result, if it is bad, should they buyback their shares before releasing the result or after?

Retail sales data for July is really bad and not good for US fed if they are going to raise the interest rate. However, there is some bright spot showing consumers are now shopping online more than retail. And surprisingly furniture sales is still bright in the July report.
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-economy-idUSKCN10N1DL
"Automobile, furniture and online sales were bright spots in the July report. Sales at auto dealerships increased 1.1 percent last month after rising 0.5 percent in June.
Online retail sales jumped 1.3 percent, while receipts at clothing stores fell 0.5 percent."
