As with most M&A transactions of that scale, its likely that the SPA will be executed first but completion will be months down the road after all conditions are fulfilled. TF had earlier mentioned that the sale is imminent - that could probably be referring to the signing of the SPA, while completion (and payment) will take place later (end year?). Approval of shareholders probably required as a condition to sale of AAC? Only when money is at hand (on an unconditional basis) can dividend be declared. So any dividends will probably only materialise early next year.

Once you master the above you will then be able to formulate a win-win plan, notwithstanding that you may not know what's going on. Kudos!

That's right, there's been some discussion on the effect of the call warrants and looks like issuer/MacQ has been working overnight to press the price down. Not sure whether the other issuers (except for MacQ) are as skillful as MacQ...

IMO price has been artificially pushed down as fundamentally nothing has changed. Don't know what to say if a company makes a profit and still drops 20% while a whole bunch of other companies with losses don't seem to suffer the same fate!

BWC, since you're a big picture person, could you let me have your views as to whether a market crash in the US will be beneficial to AA and AAX? Thanks.
