2. How is "big picture" consistent with daily (if not more frequent) observations of where the market is heading?

3. In fact, if you think Icon & gang's over promotion has some influence on Pekor, you should say that they are doing a great job as Pekor is now close to breaking even and will likely make a small profit in the coming months.

4. To prove your points, why don't you make some predictions on long-term market movements now, since you're such a big picture person? I believe Icon & gang are saying AA price should be at RM3.50 level or more in the coming months, particularly once the AAC sale is concluded/ announced. If you don't agree, please let us have your views. If you do, then what's the point of your postings?!

5. Lastly, talk is cheap. Show us your trade slips on all your trades and we'll be the judge as to whether you've made the profits that you claim to have made.

What do you guys think about this stock ex AAC (as in after sales proceeds are received and dividend declared but not yet distributed)? What about after dividends distributed?

Dividend won't be paid out by end July if the sale of AAC only concludes in Q3 of this year right? If special dividend paid out after sale concludes, how do you guys think share price will move? I intend to hold on to a portion of shares after dividend payout to see where the growth takes AA. Any advice?

How material would you guys anticipate the effect be on the payout that AirAsia is expected to receive from the AAC sale if RM strengthens against the USD to about RM4/ RM4.10 per USD1?

Just a thought, instead of declaring dividends, would it be possible for AA to use the proceeds of AAC sale to pare down debt and take private AAX? I've seen this being raised before but people seem to think its not even remotely possible.

Surely not everything will be distributed as special dividend? RM0.80 - RM1.00 more likely.

I entered about RM2.85. May I ask the sifus here, if the sale allows AA to declare special dividend of RM1.00 per share, would it be advisable to sell and cash out or wait for dividends, bearing in mind future growth and/or listing plans? Assumption is share price at RM3.50 at the time dividend of RM1.00 is declared (end March). Ty in advance.

I've never invested in warrants so know nuts about it. May I clarify something: your C1 shows Above 0.65 Below 0.65 Lose/Win. Understand it means that if the price on expiry date goes above 0.65 the buyer wins and if it is under then the issuer wins. I see that the C1 warrants has an exercise price of 0.35 and warrant price of 0.05. How does that correlate with 0.65?

Query to the pros: If AA sells AAC, could it be that it may channel part of the proceeds to its associates? Whether by subscribing for more shares or something to that effect?

Tune Live's capital injection into AA has been confirmed. Would anyone happen to know if there will be positive impact on AAX? It appears that the funds will be used at the AA level only, so won't trickle down. Or am I mistaken?

Tune's then-CEO was on BFM some time back, and think he mentioned that only a very low percentage of flyers (think about 10%?) purchase Tune's insurance when flying with Airasia (and the group). But that is slowly increasing.

Hi guys, anyone has any idea how the anticipated US rate hike in December (and the following rate hikes) will impact the share price? Would that mean that there is limited upside even if profits are good for Q3, Q4 and next Q1?

It is, but there's not been any good answer to my query above, particularly on gestational period of the Iskandar hospital and how it relates to the share price... Would that not mean that the hospital will only start making real money about 5 years from now?

May I seek the views of experts here on the following:

Hospitals usually have quite a long gestational period. Assuming Thomson Iskandar has a short/ good one, e.g. 2-3 years, that means earnings will only improve after that period. Taking into account 1.5 to 2 years for the development phase (assuming completion of mid 2018), that means it will be about 3.5 to 5 years from now for Thomson Iskandar to contribute positively to TMC's earnings.

I'm holding some shares of TMC Life for now, don't plan to dispose anytime soon, but isn't it a little weird that the PE does not seem justifiable? More like a tech company PE, even tech companies may not have this valuation.

The company has referred to it having "inferred" gold resources. Read this while doing some research, what do you guys think?

"Inferred resources are not based on any drillhole campaign and are an educated guess regarding the mineral reserves in the land base in question. Inferred resources rely on seismic data and an understanding of the geology of the area in question.

As per balance sheets, etc. The market often gives little to no value to inferred resources unless there is a massive ongoing drilling campaign which is expected to convert most of the inferred resources to indicated and/or measured. Many segments of the materials sector, such a potash, iron ore, and molybdenum to name a few, often get valued on measured resources alone."

Anyone can enlighten me as to why monthly production of gold dore is so low even with so much ore mined?

And is 3 - 4 kilos of gold dore production per month considered a good amount, considering the fact that gold price is quite high per gm? E.g. for month of April,gold dore produced is 3.36 kg, which equates to RM 512k based on the lowest price of RM/gm.

Quarter results should be out soon. Judging from AAX's good results and AA's results which are anticipated to be good too, it should have a knock on effect on Tunepro.
