There is nothing complicated. Jaks announced EPS of 3.1 sen in November 2016. After studying, I realized EPS likely to be strong going forward due to Vietnam construction. So it was a Buy.

The same is happening to Supermax. I know that it's earning capacity is very high, hence recent low profitability is temporary.

Positive factors are : (1) stock price has gone down a lot (2) USD strong (3) ongoing expansion

The above three added together points to good potential to go up by a lot. The only question is when will that happen ? I don't have answer. But my guess and hope is that it can happen anytime (or it might not). For me, the most I lose out is a bit of time.

Once I analyze like that, it is not difficult to understand why I buy

stocks are value buy when nobody can tell for sure when they will turn around (please refer to your own words below). When everybody can tell you confidently that next quarter will have strong results, can you still buy at this price ?

the trick is not to buy too early. If a stock needs 3 years to turn around, forget it.

But I don't think supermax will take that long. I don't know when they will turn around, but my guess is 3 to 9 months. If that is the case, it is time to buy (for me)

Slow ? I look at it differently.

they are expanding their capacity aggressively. So, going forward, this company will grow. If stock run fast, I am happy. If slow, it is opportunity to slowly accumulate
