1 generation [20 years] of adaptation means the 10 to 20% unable to mount any antibodies to covid will no longer be around.
10 to 20% of global population will be culled off.
The babies of the next generation will all contain the DNA to produce covid antibodies from vaccine.

Human has always find a way to live with all type of virus, bacterial and etc since time immemorial.
Our body will find a way to adapt/resist/immune this covid virus. It will end as another seasonal flu.
But till then you still need to follow the SOP to prevent spreading the virus and allowed our body to adapt/resist/immune to this virus.

AA desperate cash call and begging for bank loan is for what purpose? And how many more quarters of loss making/cash burn are on the pipeline?

Lastly of all the stocks available in Bursa what is the reason you invest in AA with negative equity (PN17) and many more months of cash burn to come?

Question 3: LTIP committee is it fair to award SGP Grants (Free JRB Shares Grant without any cash consideration) when JRB is short of cash flow and moreover shareholders had not been rewarded with any dividend since 2016?
Reply : Yes it is fair. The share grants were previously given under the LTIP scheme approved by shareholders to eligible employees who have contributed to the Group, and to reward and retain them. The Share Grants also saves the Company’s cashflows instead of paying cash remuneration.

Question 4: When the Share Grant Plan which was approved through the past EGM held in 2016 the NOSH of JRB is 438,361,000 and LTIP 15% of the issued and paid-up share capital 65,754,000. So may I ask, is the Executive director/Management act in conflict of interest to do more PP and RI until today NOSH is 2 billion over so that more LTIP (15% of NOSH) can be granted?
Reply : We have already replied and explained to you numerous times before the AGM and/or during the AGM that previous fund raising were done in the context of the capital intensive nature of the Group’s venture into Power Plant in Vietnam which has since started operation and producing profits. The Executive Directors/ Management are not acting in conflict as the decision to give the Share Grants are determined by the LTIP committee and Remuneration Committee of independent directors. The Fund Raising and the LTIP are not interrelated.

Though I do think AA NTA become above zero is very very extremely unlikely.

Tony make so much money from the blood and sweat of his staff.
He could have paid his staff way higher salaries during good times pre-covid.

Thats very despicable, and thats why people like me and my clients have TOTALLY NO RESPECT for him.

I am NOT a communist but I really believe in a fair salary and that the owner should not take it all himself like Tony.

NO WONDER Tiny kena karma now for treating his staffs badly.
I don’t want to be associated with Tiny. Tomorrow Monday, I will sell all my shares here. Full stop. Tony is Tiny now. So sad.

I'm not an analyst. One of the key measurement of a company's performance is staff happiness.

AA's staff are not happy because:

- pilots have to pay for their meals on board

- pilots get reprimanded for not achieving a 98% flap 3 landings (full flap landing will cost 8kg more of fuel

- top guys get RM400M worth of LTIS free shares despite losing RM972M in fuel speculation

- flights are undertaken without ATC's permission (Surabaya–Singapore route on Sunday)

- F words are used on subordinates

- I have personally seen how TF talked to a staff and it's completely different from his public cut-glass British accented persona

Conclusion
Having said so much, I am reminded of a poem by Theodore Roosevelt.

At the end of the day, I am a person with the benefit of hindsight, who have never started a business, much less impacted lives in South East Asia the way Tony Fernandes & Kamarudin Meranun had.

Because of them, the low cost carrier model was ignited sooner, and now almost everybody in South East Asia can fly.

Quite frankly, as i was writing this. i wondered if I even have the right to criticize Tony Fernandes & Kamarudin Meranun in the management of Airasia.

i3lurker, rubbish lah.
Even some Multi National companies in Msia also don’t give free lunches and long afternoons tea break. Menyampah.

I treat my staff very well.
Good pay higher than Industry average. I make sure its higher.

Everyone gets a free Touch n Go card thats topped up when required with no questions asked how they spend it.

They just need to bring back when empty.
No delays in paying them salary..

All put on weight after working for me just one month...
Everyday for lunch, its fancy Japanese restaurants, Manhattan Fish Market, TGIF, that level of standard.
Esquire Kitchen is considered dieting already.

Long Tea times at 10am 3pm at expensive coffee shops like Coffee Bean, Starbucks, San Francisco for more eat eating makan makan again...
