# chengyee - KC is absolutely correct. He's more on FA than TA. Whilst it is okay to engage in quick trades on and off, you should also have some core stocks for long term investment (which I do if you were to read my postings). Weida is definitely not for trading based on its low volume daily. Most of KC's counters are for the long haul, boring but rewarding over a period of time, like Weida, Wellcall, M Flour etc....

KC - just came back from dinner. No worries, just drop in nay time you wish. I am sure my kakis will appreciate your views and good advice.

# ooi1955 - I reckon it is okay to follow TM on MyEg even though I am not in as his rationale is based on TA. Howver I am not in as I do not go chasing as I know this share was below RM1 not long ago. But again there's saying buy high sell higher and if the charts do show that there's still an uptrend, why not. Moreover you have Captain TM to be the guardian angel. All the best.

Congrats on your gain on Barakah, Inwest88. Last night I had a good laugh thanks to KC Loh. Btw, are you still holding Arank? It's their Agm tomorrow. Would you go and throw them some questions?

# connie - I reckon you need to equip yourself with more knowledge on warrants so that when you do invest in them in future you would be prepared. Certain things you must know like the quality of the company, the conversion price and ratio, expiry date, gearing, premium / discount etc. To be a good investor / trader one must at least know the basics, better still learn TA or FA though I do not really follow them as so far my own strategy is doing fine. The most worrying problem is the herd instinct or mentality when everyone is trying to join the euphoria when he sees a speculative share being "goreng", like in DSC and Sumatec earlier and now Inix. I went into Inix a few months back at an average of 11.5 send and sold off at about 16 sen (very good percentage returns) when this share was hardly noticed but with some activity on and off. However with the high volume the last few days it suddenly becomes the "darling" of the market and everyone is jumping in to avoid missing the boat. Looking at the company nothing has changed in its financials. The rising price may be something else (getting new projects, corporate exercise, takeover etc). I am not saying it cannot go further but unless you know something the risk is indeed high. You may be able to make 1 K but can lose a few K also if it is just pure goreng.

So far so good as the success rate is about 70% - 75 % (plus or minus). After fully retired a few months back I have more time to do online trading. I do not aim to get rich but contented to earn some additional income. So far so good. The earnings can cover for my drinks and some decent meals for the family. I can't ask for more. # bsnpng - how are you ? I have slightly more than 20 in my portfolio and like you say quite a few do not require monitoring but those under short term / quick trading do need constant surveillance.
