3 KW / Ooi - I thought this challenge is a stationary one for a one year duration without any trading and the winner will be determined on the basis od the highest returns at the year of the year based on the 100K allocation at the start of the contest. Or perhaps I have misunderstood,

# ooi1955, - no doubt Barakah has gone up but it's still paper gains only . It will only be actual profits when sold. That's why I always say never regret when you sell a stock at a profit irrespective of the amount. I know it's easy to say but as you go along you will be able to learn and take it from there. A lot of people said, I should have waited. But what if it had gone down after selling ? Also when you sell a counter, you also must let buyer have the opportunity to make some money, just like when you first purchased from the previous buyer. This is an on-going process.

scjm3 - haha, I key-ed in when it was 1.49 before I went out. Normally my forecast in keying in selling prices are quite achievable (I would say about 80%) but missed this time. Hopefully it's a blessing in disguise and can sell 2 or 3 sen higher (again barring any unforeseen circumstances). Hope you have fully recovered, good night.

# sjcm3 my e-kawan - what a good job you are doing, educating and guiding my 932kakis on stock trading. I am sure that they (including myself) are very thankful and appreciative of your views and guidance.

# connie - like what scjm says, migrating to the main board is nothing great as it means the company has met certain set criteria and would probably will attract the attention of fund managerr. Besides Jadi there are also a lot of other counters which were 'promoted' to the main board but are not performing to expectations. Just to name a few - Frontken, Green Packet, Mtronic, Symphny, Etitech and to a lesser extent Digistar.

# hepitrade - I see you are going around asking whether can go in this stock or that stock or not which most are highly speculative and non-profitable companies (too sensitive to mention the names of the counters). If you don't mind, I would say that this is a very wrong way of trading in the market and the chances of losing is very high. You should only look at the views of those who can really give good advice and not jumping in when one says tomorrow limit up, will shoot up soon etc. Anyway just a friendly advice since I see your posting in this thread. I trust you should be able to make your own judgement.
