# connie - agree with what scjm says. There are categories of stock traders / investors and every one have their own strategy. We are just small time retail players who just want to earn some extra income and thus more often than not most of us are caught in their spider web if not careful. Thus it's best to adopt your own approach, taking into consideration your trading experience, the overall market scenario, the quality of the stock plus volume and price trend / behavior.

Like today, this morning I spotted PW quite early in the morning. Wanted to go in 10 lots but hesitated because of 3 reasons
1) poor market sentiment
2) the stock has not much fundamentals (being the conservative I)
3) volume not convincing at that point in time

Then I left for JJ and MM. If I would have stayed back for another hour or so and saw the volume coming in, most probably (but not surely) would have taken a position. And it closed high at 86 or 87 sen. Even If i have sold it for between 80 to 82 sen (knowing my character) I would have profited a few hundred ringgit). Now now with the high volume and price increase at the end of the day, everyone is talking about it.

When I came back in the afternoon, I spotted Homeriz and this time I went in immediately as it almost have the same behavior like PW but it has stronger financials. Over and above, both kcchongnz and OoiTB have encouraging views on this counter in terms of FA and TA respectively. This gives me added confidence. Anyway whether it continues to move up in the coming days is yet to be seen.

# sky - thanks for the compliments which honestly I feel I do not fully deserve. Agree that we cannot, and in fact do not have the right, to dictate who can come and who can go. Thus I always emphasize that we have to be mindful of our language/words so as not to upset or hurt the feelings of others and may even invite unnecessary attacks. After all this is a public forum and there must be a limit in what we say (cannot be too personal). When I first came to i3 I used to defend some people (like KCChongnz, KCLoh, OoiTB - who voice out their good intentions) against others who attack them with cynical and sarcastic comments but have stop doing so to avoid starting a e-battle. I believe that as long as one's conscience is clear, there is no need to defend oneself. It is my hope that this thread can maintain its friendly and cordial atmosphere where everyone can share their trading views, ideas, strategies and experience. Of course jokes, songs, poems can also be shared but again must be mindful of the words used.
