It's indeed encouraging to see so many people starting to come in one by one. The thread is open to all but it would be much appreciated that whoever comes into this thread will give productive and constructive comments. There should not be any case of running down and belittling others, no name calling, no foul language to be used etc. If you feel that a certain stock should be followed, try to provide some basis. Cheeseburger, thanks. There was no intention whatsoever to come into this thread. It so happens my group is here so we use it to communicate. You can see we are not discussing the other stocks in length. We understand and respect the rules.

Normally at the end of the day, I browse trough the whole list of stocks and look for abnormal movements (as I said based on experience, no TA). I only choose those companies that are profitable for at least 2 oy of 4 quarters in a year. Then I will monitor the following day. Today Pansar looks good, at least fro the time being but I did not go in.

kcchongnz, you have made a splendid selection in including Fibon on 5th August as one of your stock picks in the challenge. From a price of 33 sen it has gone up to a high of 56 sen today, an increase in 23 sen or almost 70% in just a matter of two and a half month ! What a magnificent performance ! And after having gone up, now only others are noticing it. like in Nexttrade where it is a forecasting a target price of 70 sen, Why now only realize it is a gem. That's the wonder of FA which TA cannot do. Like you say, using FA will give a higher return over the long term but in the case of Fibon, it's really amazing, In terms of percentage returns (if extrapolated over a year), it's even better than than Datasonic and Pintaras. Well done !. and not forgetting house who highlighted this gem 1

fatinvest, in life we have to pay to become wiser and more knowledgeable in the stock market. My sincere advice is the newbies in i3 is not to get too much involved in the market but concentrate on their jobs for career advancement. I am worried they simply follow those who just shout buy buy buy, sell sell sell, target price is so much so much, going to fly, sell before it crashes, directors selling, the company is getting big contracts etc. They should go through the postings and see who are people with the genuine stuff !

CT, No I didnt't go in. You know I am a small trader and if based on TM932's midterm target of 2.30, it means a gain of 13 sen if I go in at 2.17, representing a return of 6% which is good indeed by all standards. However for fun trades I would go for penny stocks at higher volume to get about 8 to 10%. Of course if the price drops, It means I will lose more. Nevertheless I do wish you all well in your entry into E&0. And by the way I went in once before at 1.88 and sold at 2.02. Small gains only for beer and mahjong money !

CT, looks like your Cuscapi is going up! By theway I entered Rexit at 37 sen today (just 15 lots) for fun trade even though it may be a 1 day play like what TM932 said. Also I entered Inix at 15 sen yesterday (20 lots) and sold at 16.5 sen for some quick small money. Am looking at Penta now. All these are based on observation, no TA or FA involved !
