Just think logically ! The stock market is not so simple and can be dictated by the actions of the directors. Then we might as well follow them, if they buy we buy, if they sell we sell. Then there is no need for TA, FA or any other investment strategies.

scjm3, thanks ! will monitor LBS. However the warrant would be a better option !

hiddengem, I came back late after breakfast, queued at 31,5 sen. Didnt get but got some Homeritz. Was eyeing Furnweb before I went out again, No movement! came back just now and the price shot up by 7 sen, nOw it's up by 10 sen, Missed again !

agree with OTB, at the conversion price of 18 sen, the warrant only commands a few percent premium. But I am not chasing, let the price settle down first !

City Trader, good for you that you managed to get Hovid. I was late to queue at 31.5. Like I say, you just need to follow your own trading method. If you had listen to someone else you would have missed out. So what if the directors unload their shares. Everyday you see directors of many many companies selling their shares. The only consolation for me is that I managed to get some Homeritz shares. In fact I also was watching Furnweb this morning before I went out. When I came back (a few minutes ago) it has gone up by 7 sen. Missed again !

I keyed in at 31.5 sen but was late. So didn't get it. Nevertheless I entered Homeriz at 44 sen. It's a counter under kcchong's stock picks !

bsnpng, agree that the market is rather uncertain. In fact I have been a net seller this month. The market is looking tired.

Thanks for the input, sjcm3 ! Hope you are doing well in lBS !

Haha, you cannot expect a director of a company to hold on to their shares forever. They also cannot predict the market. It often happens that after a day day or two, the price shoots up. Kim Yap Lau has a good point.

Anyway I just happen to spot the counter and ask you to take a look at it. At the end of the day, you have to use your own judgement and decision. Normally I do not bother what others say especially if not supported by facts and figures.

In units (no. of shares). Take for example, at times even when EPF disposed some counters, the price moved up.
2013-10-20 21:08 | Report Abuse
You can see under the company's announcements that the disposal is a few days ago at a price (quite a large volume of shares) of 30 sen. Yet it moved up to a high of 31.5 sen on Friday. So, what does it mean ?
2013-10-20 21:02 | Report Abuse
CT, Directors disposing is a very common phenomenon and most of the time has no impact on the price. In fact after the directors's disposal the price keeps inching up, albeit slowly.
As I suggest, stick to your own judgement.

CT, I would suggest we stick to our own judgement. Let's see if Matrix can give us added confidence.

avenger 88, if you thoroughly read through the postings of those you mentioned, I think it's quite a direct conclusion of who is talking sense and logic and who isn't ! You judge for yourself.

Every individual have his / her mind to assess the stock market - what to invest, when to invest, who to listen, what method to follow etc. The decision he / she takes will at the end of the day determine whether he / she makes a profit or a loss.

TigerShark, thanks for your advice, In fact I do not fancy chocolates as they are too sweet for me. I just give it a try. My favorite snacks are almonds and walnuts to go with my whisky and beer !

Calvin, I just bought a packet of Tudor dark chocolate with hazel nuts from a Cosway outlet. To my surprise it's on offer "buy 1 free 1" for RM 10.90. They told me the offer is because the chocolates is nearing to expiry date which is still 3 months away - end January 2014.

calvin, I have read through all your postings and allow me to drop some comments for the first time.
1) you seem to be a very learned person with vast knowledge in the property sector as well as in reading financial statements
2) you have a very good command of the English language and the words and phrases you use can be easily understood
3) your points are full of logic and at times convincing
On the other hand, in my opinion
a) you have over-played the benefits of the Tudor brand of chocolates which may irritate some people
b) the way you write all the good things about PM Corp may lead to some people having questions about your motive
c) I am not sure how '"good" or "bad" is the company buy I trust kcchongnz's views on this stock
In fact, I am considering to put in RM11,000 (50 lots at 22 sen) and keep, let's say, for a year. In the worst scenario I am prepared to lose
80% of the investment. However if what you say all along is true, the 11K can turn to 30K, 40K or even 50K.

Good choice, hidden gem. I played 4 rounds on this counter already, made 3 times earlier and lost on commission the last time.

anthony, what is your basis fir saying so, if I may ask ?
2013-10-18 21:58 | Report Abuse
CT and Hidden Gem , both of you have valid points. However, whether as a investor, trader or speculator, the most important thing is that we are able to make gains at the end of the day. Of course some counters we make some we lose but the net must be on the plus side. It;s like a mahjong game, you cannot game at every hand, but it's good enough when the game is over and you have winnings !

That's why I ignore those who just scream buy buy buy, sell sell sell, up up up, going to fly, going to crash etc and even give target prices but without any back-ups ! Just want to create attention ! Of course this is a free world and everyone has the right to voice their views. It's up to others whether to believe or not !

Lost back 10% small issue only. As long as still got net gain. I know you trade on TA and charts which I do also but I am more conservative. I will also consider the how "good" is the company. So it;s a bit of a combination of TA and FA. But sad to say, I am not good in both and have to rely on others although I know how to read and understand the Balance Sheet of a company. I always value the analytic information provided by kcchongnz.

CT, I admire your brave decision to cut loss on Hibicus ! Have you read kcchongnz'a analysis ?
2013-10-18 15:42 | Report Abuse
SPA relates to those companies with no business upon listing but only scouts for business after listing. It stands for Special Purpose Acquisition Company. KCChongnz had given a very detailed analysis on this type of companies. I suggest you judge for yourself.

bsnpng, there's nothing great to show off - just small gains, only it gives you a bit of satisfaction. At times we also lose, but how many people are willing to share their stories of losses.
