What to do now?

Practically every oil & gas company in Malaysia depends on government support one way or another. So stay out of the sector or invest in those that the govt controls ie petgas, petchem, petdagang, misc, mhb, Umwog .

Don't take the risk on others if oil stays low for a long time

When there is the greatest fear, usually it's near bottom & then recovery will st in. Does not mean must average. I'm not a believer of averaging a stock that gives me so much fear.
Just hang on to it till crude oil recovers to 60-80 sometime the next 2 years & u will 100% see yr money back. Very unlikely to go bust, so have faith.

All the sellers were local brokers.
Rumour has hit some big boys have shorted this stock, so a rebound will come very soon cos they have to do short covering. Foreign holders were not the sellers & did not follow the sell down.
Cimb analyst created some bad news so they can collect. My bet is tomorrow it might go near to 7 & then major rebound

don't worry, investors will come when sanity appears & when bad deals are cancelled due to the hungry ghosts who want to line their pockets

This is a crap company, only know how to make losses & play share mkt

Next qtr result should be another big loss. That's why retailers always lose cos don't do own homework b4 putting money. Like to trade online cos cheap brokerage, don't want remisier advise or pay higher brokerage but can lose more in the mkt cos they very smart. Wise up pls b4 lose everything. Share mkt is to make money not see who clever or stupid

No idea but don't play contra.
Now down on earnings probably 2 weeks for price stablisation. Hopefully don't break the low.
I want to see the price action on the day when Brent crude is up. That will show its support. The faster it stays above 1.00 the better as penny stock value is not good for this company's image

Will be interesting to see the share price when Brent hits US$35

Impairment loss=asset value write down cos business slow & too many assets remain idle.
Like value of yr house goes down during recession but gets revalued upwards when economy gets better. Hence its not a cash flow item but just a paper loss. There will be a write back when it's rigs r fully leased out.

Impairment loss.....go find out what that means & the effect on the company's fundamentals not the share price.

Yes...... Trade oil stocks cos they in play now. Already huge beating so plenty of upside vs downside. If investor then hard to buy at bottom & sell at top.
At these levels it's bottom rather than top so at low risk

Trading stock at the moment, will move up dramatically one 1.10 breach decisively or when Brent hits 40 bucks

Make a note of the Brent oil prices & draw a chart where Umwog price level was historically.

Plenty of upside

Perhaps uncle might be thinking something like this....... If that amount of money to sponsor 1 child, I can use the same amount to sponsor 10. Nothing wrong with that.

The issue here I think is not about sponsorship. The point is whether our children want to study medicine & whether we can afford it. Life is not all about cost & benefits. We came with nothing & will go with nothing but if we can do something for the betterment of society in general then we will leave our mark
