is it something like parkson where the financials show that it is a good company but the share price doesnt???

i have nothing in prlexus or parkson, just curious on how u define quality company.

their operating profit margin is higher than apollo, but management no give dividend. how u expect mkt to be interested????

@investco , i have to agree with u that it is an operationally efficient company but if no good dividend or ibs spinning stories, how to go up????

thats why i m not even considering touching parkson, since i see no end-of-the-tunnel for good profits.

one of the first lessons i learn in punting is never catch a falling knife, unless u see a good profit story behind it.

however, i use this lesson with caution now after transmile episode.

miss first rd at 0.8 (order at 0.77) so didnt bother punting in when it starts running, knowing full well it is a goreng counter.

know of friends getting out at 2 and joking with them they got out too early, now in retrospect, they r still big winners at having 100% return.

just looking at its china and malaysia stores, u know it is a sunset company. the indochine stores wont be able to pick up the china slack.

jamespond, most likely anything below 1 maybe worth a look at but then again, like u said long gestation period for any frying.

confirm a lot of institutions and retailers kena burnt at 2-2.5. even banker is burnt this time. worth a punt if it is below 1.
