i missed the rally for this stock in nov2016, and since it had already rallied 200% since then, i gave it a miss and decided to focus on other penny stocks which has not rallied or sold off others which had.

better to sleep easy than to worry abt the movements.

now i confirm see someone buying @ rm3/share b4 the meltdown.

have oversubscribed interest, then can push up ipo price to 5.

ipoed then goreng to 6+.

better than give @ 8 and then lower to 6.5, bad publicity and lose money.

lucky got out @ 4.9 and take home small profit to pay broker.

even at current price, not attractive enough for me since there r better options out there.

i was surprised when my banker showed me the ipo price @ 8. if it was a 3-4, maybe i will be interested.

now the next one i waiting for relisting is kfc and hopefully not sky high asking like lotte-titan.

for lotte-titan, the ipo price is too high despite the stable production margins from lower feedstock px. so it is a no-no for me since limited upside and most likely overvalued.

the possibility of privatization is there as i stated b4. but still better to be on the safe side since not on the banker side.

even though the reported nta is high, still have to be cautious since there is possibility of manipulation. examples can be found in equity mkts ard the world.

i know someone hold this stock for 5 yrs b4 this merger news broke out. he sold b4 ard 1.8 level (entry @ 0.75) which i find it to be too fast, but on hindsight, he did ok.

so question to u now, is r u willing to bet for a bullish story to break out and wait (which can take years) or just withdraw and look for better target.

in malaysia, the parent parkson is a penny stock, even if it is not one in hong kong.

mkt cap is one thing but even companies with huge mkt cap had been fallen b4, i need not remind u of this history.

have a read of the article again and u will know that many of the stocks mentioned fell from hkd3/share or so to less than hkd1/share.

do u even know why alibaba is buying into brick & mortar in the first place????

basically he is going to use it as a move into groceries and common consumer goods such as common fashion/electronics etc, something like the local aeon stores.

have a walk ard aeon stores and u know where the bulk of the revenue r generated from.

these goods provide stable margins and is not worth using online b2b/b2c platforms,

he is not going to use it to sell high end clothing or jewelries, chinese mkt is alrdy saturated with cdf and prada stores.

for parkson, any transformation is too late and might not even succeed.

based on this posting, i confirm that u r not in tune with psychology of investor.

nirvana is a cash rich and profitable biz, but due to the fact of superstition and the not-so-attractive dividend yield of 3%, not much investor interest. therefore, it has also delisted from hkse after 2 yrs.

for all die hard parkson fans,

since u r so confident of parkson's future, may i suggest that u use rm100k to buy into this stock to make a 100% profit in 2 yrs.

if u win, congrats and if u lose, its ur money lost, not mine.

i think @sharemakers is using the valuation given from reports from one of the research houses. most of them give value of ard land value of rm5/share and using 50% trading discount, get rm2.50/share.

however, i believe it is overvalued since almost 70% of landbank in jb area and now dont even know if iwc/iwh has kl land at all.
