Though the Government bought the vaccine through pharma,whether you like it or not ,the current Government wouldn't either foot the bills nor compensate for obvious reasons and the company ended up with impairment.

The company should have done the negotiation long before it has now suxked into the mud. Considering the situation faced by the Company, the buyers would hold the company at ransom by offering " cut throat " price to buy the vaccine.

The sooner the vaccine was close to expiry ,the sooner it was to be completely written off as unsafe for usage. The Stock of vaccine should have been sold at a discount to salvage some cash to reduce loss. The BOD should be responsible for the loss of their own making.

One fellow said the impairment was a " non- cash " item. If your inventory incurred and paid for is worth nothing at the end of the day, the impairment is as good as " cash forgone" . Loss of cash is loss of assets of the company representing actual loss to the company. The built up reserve has been hugely walloped by the enormous current loss.

Dnex has already settled out of court with its investing partner. Now that their trading relationship has turned sour.it is likely that silterra is dead and Dnex is seeking for another partner to continue with the said venture.

It is said that the Ping biz doesn't really fit in the strategy of the Group in the long run.Thats why they are contemplating to sell.

It is learnt that dnex is planning to dispose of all its shareholding in Ping and re-focus on semi- conductor biz with the proceeds upon disposal of ping.

Frozen seafoods is readily and easily imported and exported unlike import and export of fresh and live seafoods which require stringent packings and timely delivery. Frozen food is a trend now.

Payment Gateway biz seems to be saturated. The duo must have thought beyond the box to increase the revenue and growth by venturing into real property developments and management. There is nothing's wrong to diversify as there have been many successful stories of other PLCs venturing into real property development and management of which their core businesses are not . If well managed, group revenue could be multiplied and ballooned to the benefit of the shareholders as a whole.

The above is just a dream of the duo.....Whether it is realised or not remains to be seen. Meanwhile , the loggerhead is ongoing...

Revenue is down and probably the only way to bring it up is to venture into real property developments and management as proposed by Brian( defunct director now ) with the blessing from Dino ( major shareholders with 20%+++by now) .

I am not too sure if Brain is serious about it or just proposed the above with an agenda to depress the share price. Whatever it may be , he is taking everyone for a bumpy ride until his proposal is approved in the upcoming EGM and/or BOD for change of object clause.

Your mention of purchase of shares " off market" is not workable in hostile situation. Furthermore,the sellers would sell even at higher price than the market since they know you are desperate to increase your shareholding directly,which would cost you even more.

There is nothing 's wrong for nominees to buy open market to capitalise on the depressed price provided they don't foul the permitted laws and regulations.

It is a matter of the willing parties to buy the shares at the price put up by the seller.The seller never compels the buyer to buy.it is an open market transaction on a transparent basis.

Whether the duo sold more than they bought back is out of the question.Nominees can buy back on their behalf.
