For Armada, short term, i believe oil is rebounding and staying above $60, coupled with US huge jump and christmas rally around the corner, for me, I will think its a rebounding time for O&G stocks which had been hugely oversold (RSI much lower than 30).

I think its much more than just to play out Russia. Not to mention Iran and other countries like venezuala. I believe its also power play between OPEC and US, fighting for market share. A few factors in play right now. So I can only hope ikan bilis like me can earn a few drop of oil from this crisis.. RM80k is good enough for 2015

$60 /bbl is not even offering any support. Break $60 like peanuts. Its now $59.26, down almost 3%. I think prediction of $53 is becoming true. SK PEtrol 2.08 is not even a support. It just hang there a while. RM2.00 and RM1.80 Oil looks like going down to $55. All hell break loose then

KS55, thanks for the link, its very very useful. $40/bbl basically is the threshold or what they call, cash costs. Below that, many could not make $$. so, we know $40 is the line and now its about $60/bbl. 33% to reach $40/bbl. Not so soon though.

Shareprofit is correct, this is not speculation play. Its a fact that oil is oversupply. And its not for months, its for years.

actually Kc55 strategy can work. I believe he is joking about RM1. This accumulation can work but not in a short time, it will be a long time. From accumulation to sell could take 3-5 years. $70 per barrel is the new $100 and it could stay there for a long time. Starting price can be RM2.2

Its funny how when people got their money stuck in a stock, they will say they go for long term. But very often, not even 6 months, they will sell off or cut loss. Hi Pika, I used to use DCF to evaluate a company. For GOB, the cost of sales fluctuate a lot and i dont quite understand progressive billings thats eating the cash flow..
can you share how you evaluate property stock like GOB...thanks !

I've cut loss some counters. Basically, Had liquidate all my position even in SKPetrol. bought at 2.50, sold at 2.59. I have a feeling we will see selldown in the afternoon.

I have a feeling market is going to crash soon. KLSE so volatile, obviously big fish dont believe the oil price is rebounding.

ABC1234, Yup, agree with you. I think this rebound could be short live. If Oil prices continue to go down, Wall street is poised to have a deep correction, not to mention KLSE

We really wont know when is the bottom. Its already hitting 5 years low. And It could go way down if support level breaks. Now, we all know oil price will go up to USD100 again someday. If war break out in middle east or if US and OPEC agree to stabilize the price, someday, the price will go up again. We dont know when. Just need to know when to start accumulating if you have the patience. By the way, this company belongs to Mahathirs son and its in the KLSE 30 companies.
I think we really need to be patient and wise if we want to accumulate O&G stocks

Its still red, if brent still below $70, then its weakness, basically both brent and wti will kena. i think its going to be a long term weakness. 2015 might be supress, Petronas reduce Capex by 20%, meaning less contract, less activity, less output. those who buy oil stocks are looking at "real" long term.
