would like to share out my 2 cents..

1. new factory cost optimization and production volume has already reflected this year in March-June quarter.

2. March MCO was the best time when kawan can generate its maximum profit because of total lockdown which will reflect the norm of eating at home. Now people are allowed to eat in shops and therefore the sales in Malaysian region will not be as high as in March-June...asians prefer to eat out instead of eating at home and its cheaper to eat out too.

3. there are no new additional product being introduced lately, hence only best selling up to date is paratha & roti canai...(unlike nestle and others where they come up with different products and varieties)

4. EPS this quater is not great...there had been way higher EPS back in 2005-2017.

the average selling price of consumer food goods have no been increased therefore we would be seeing around the same profit margin only.

can others please enlighten me with facts how will kawan continue to grow further towards RM 3+ RM 4+ ? ....in order to do so, next qr PAT must be at least 10 mil , if the mentioned above is just the same how is it gonna grow further ?

@sunshine68, fair price suppose to be at Rm 9.xx ....this qr the EPS is super fantastic, recorded at 16 which is highest recorded ever.

fair value suppose to be at rm 2.3x...now consider over value based on the qr...many disappointed...

@handsome, ya regarding cost, i noticed that as well...i cant figure that out too..

very very disappointed with the PAT...was expecting minimum RM 9 to 10.5 mil...

i guess even the IBs did not expect this....no wonder always profit taking and today drop 8 cents.

according to my chart, it will break higher. today's closing is at RM 2.77...it will touch RM 3 after this, lets see my analysis correct or not..

@XiuyyXiong, yup good thing...company rewards the shareholders by issuing additional bonus and i believe this is because at that time the share price is high, just like gloves now they issue stock bonus..you may ask why not cash dividend? because when you issue share bonus, it will not dilute the EPS..

@XiuyyXiong, profit taking is normal, but the charts now is providing a clear indication of strong uptrend momentum..im not sure the exact date for qr but based on the above, i expect it either this week or next week.

first resistance is at 2.775 , second resistance is at 2.83...all charts showing a good uptrend moment. MACD signal appeared on 21st Aug...bollinger band breakout... looks like its about to break higher...lets see, since technical all looks good..

they do export to 38 countries....including india & china...they've got factory in china as well...

yup...this is not speculation stock...i invest because Kawan's prospects is on the bright side...i normally dont invest in a lot of counters but im really optimistic in this company...the last qr was quite good with the management's direction hence im even more interested...this company will record higher EPS in next qr...if you do forward valuation, current price at is considered a good bargain...see the support is very strong at rm 2.2x......imagine f&b company like nestle....

its hard to find a good and steady company.

buy if you think if this good for long term...dont waste time and cause volatility...if you wanna play in and out then go for gloves, not here..

take advantage of low price...collect and you will be rewarded later.
