（吉隆坡16日讯）科学、工艺及革新部长凯里指出，我国在参与了全球冠病疫苗机制（COVAX）后，将可通过该机制获得国内10%人口的新冠肺炎疫苗。

他指出，政府的目标是要达到70%的国人能够接种疫苗，因此，我国正通过其他管道获取另外60%人口的疫苗。

他说，政府希望能在明年首两个季度，能获得疫苗的供应，惟这必须获得国家药品监管局（NPRA）的批准。



他强调，国家药品监管局将通过临床实验的数据，严格鉴定疫苗的安全后，才会作出是否预购的决定。
