About 4 m tickets sale per draw. A little bit low considering the population of 90+ m

I have been monitoring the growth of Vietnam lottery sale since day1. By looking at the amount of the grand prize, initially the increment was 0.5-0.6B per draw. The latest increment was ~2.5B. This figure tells me the sale has increased by 5X in about 2 months. If I am not wrong, currently the lottery tickets can only be purchased by physically visiting the sale booth in HCMC. What will happen if they establish the sale booth throughout the entire country? What will happen if the lottery tickets can be purchased online by a smart phone? I did a check online, FDI for Malaysia is about RM 13B for Q1-2016. For Vietnam, FDI is USD 11B for first half of 2016. If you compare these two figures, Vietnam attracts almost 2X FDI than Malaysia. Samsung, intel, Abbot + a lot of MNCs have already invested heavily in the country. Currently an entry level engineer with a university degree in HCMC earns about USD 300 ~ 400. With this amount, you can only hire an operator with SPM cert in Malaysia. I would expect the salary to grow at a very high rate. Vietnam economy is booming, just like China 20-30 years ago. If the economy is doing well, and average income goes up, naturally people tends to spend more on food, alcohol, cloth, luxury items, and of course, gaming. Genting is building a port in HCMC specifically for its gambling cruise ship. I think it is wise to park some of our money in companies which own business in Vietnam for a fast ride.

Jackpot price increases by 0.9b Dong. Compare this figure to the first draw, where the increase was 0.35b Dong. Sale has gone up 3x since the beginning. I would expect the sale will increase at a faster rate as the Jackpot size gets larger. By the way, 18.8b dong is equivalent to rm 3.5M, a big amount by any measure.

There is a big gap between the current market value of POSH and the stated value of associate in the balance sheet.

COD (commercial operation date) of unit 1 was Nov 27-2015. However, a couple days later the plant stopped due to "non-stablized unit". We need explanation on how can a non-stablized machine or power plant achieve COD. Is COD supposed to be the final stage before commercial operation?

Unit #1 achieved syn in early Aug, commission late Oct, COD late Nov, still not stable.
Unit #2 achieved syn in early Jan. Look like planned commission date of March for unit #2 will be pushed out.

Mudajaya didn't announce the COD date of unit 1 because it was not stable. However, Mudajaya has years of experience in power plant, I believe the technical issue can be resolved soon.

Don't risk your hard earn money on this type of company.

Price is reasonable compared to its earning in last 3q unless something drastic happened like johotin case in q4.

Eps should be ~ 0.54 in 2015. PE = 4.2/0.54 = 8.0
