BUY not sell on tomorrow news because everything is telling you it is going up. That profitability is humongous and sustainable. TG capacity has been sold well ahead.
This is not your normal run of the mill company which makes a 1-off profit or some profit and you have other choices.
Gloves is the choice now.
Even if you are talking of an ordinary company you should judge whether or not that company could sustain the profitabiliy and if it could, you keep buying or hold and the likelihood is everything would be ok still and well invested. TG's result tmmrw will be not of the normal, in its hundreds and hundreds of millions of profit that to sell as per sometimes selling on news would be just suicidal.

For what it is worth, this is my 2cts........You need not worry about a fall unless you are so heavily geared. Then you need to consider. Otherwise, for a stock to go down like it has been through, it takes time and at that time it would not be too late but you would have time to consider and get the facts that it is over. Tan Sri LKT and fly owns 75.5% of Ghk(Star Cruises in the past). TSLKT also owns 40% of Genting thru' which he has interests in Resort World Las vegas and separately, others like Genting S'pore which owns 100% RW sentosa.

@Johngenting. In 2015 Genm sold its 17,8% stake in Ghk to LKT. Genm has nothing to do with Ghk now, only LKT and fly owning 75.5% Ghk now.

Today, out of all the healthcare stks, 5 were limit up while the THKS FANGS were very very strong with TG closing near its high of 26.10 @ 26.08. The gloves are incredibly strong!

I've personally seen a number of times people here wear gloves. Tdy I saw a lady wore gloves. And why not? Afterall touching of surfaces is a major cause of transmission when the face is then touched because those surfaces have been contaminated. Even if you lockdown but you still allow for touching all over as a matter of speaking, the disease will keep spreading. Therefore the question of gloves becoming mandatory is an important one.

It is very clear more and more gloves would be needed over the time of the pandemic. It will be even more so if there is competition for a solution to the virus problem. Hence it is likely Top Glove will cross higher than Rm40.

Vaccines are not the issue. It is about gloves. There will be vaccination and the need for gloves would be more. Testing might just have to increase to resolve the virus issue for a while. This also means the usage of more gloves. I think with vaccines, the demand for gloves would increase.

Dayang price is not likely to come down on Monday.
It will move towards 3.20 first with the target of more than 4 this year.
Dayang is really the biggie in its business and dwarfs all the others.
Its profits alone this year, more than 2018 by 71 million @ 236 million, suggest prices will go higher.
It is the same pattern for e.g. Scientex or Timecom.
Demand for this share has pushed the PE to 13.3 and will continue to PE of 20.
It all means that you cannot buy back cheaper than you have sold.

If you roughly work it out, Datuk Ling Suk Kiong is now sitting on even more shares in Dayang and these are all FREE I think. He is now enjoying the rise in price of Dayang and why should he not?

There were prices of stocks which went to fantastic levels of about RM8 or RM9 if I remember correctly. Mr. KYY was also involved in some of them, I think, and he bought those stocks at very low prices, about RM1+, I think. Good luck guys.

The price of Dayang has gone up and will still be going up inspite of all the " inflaming" to sell along the way. Mr.KYY has put the PE at 12 and an eps the same as the last quarter in words to this effect. Therefore the price might reach 3.30.
How do you bet against such numbers? Btw, Mr. KYY has got a lot of experience with stocks going up in price. In one case, if I remember correctly, he had a profit in excess of RM100 million.

Do not short against Mr.KYY. That is very clear. With his profits, he could in fact push up the price at will.

Dealing fairly with Washington is Trump's way of saying the deal must be in favor of Washington. The current deals are not favorable enough.

nik5007, there isn't enough data for warrants TA but in so far as analysts expect, 1.09 is what and I expect it to be in the region of 1.15. In so far as profitability is concerned this company has been making money qtr on qtr for the last 12 qtrs. The ex. price is .90cts and it is for working capital and debt repayments among others as they get along and there are 1815 days to expiry of the warrants. What you need to realize is that the .90cts is what the company gets only provided the warrants are converted. It is substantial, about 270 million if I remember correctly spread over 5 years but the point is nobody would convert if the mother goes below .90cts. And should the mother go below .90cts and stay there, I seriously think there is trouble in little China.
