The Group's revenue for the current quarter under review was higher at RM423.818 million as compared to the revenue in the corresponding quarter last year of RM403.836 million, an increase of RM19.982 million. The increasein revenue was due mainly to the increase in demand of gold jewellery and gold investment products during the quarter
under review.

The higher revenue and the increase in gold prices had improved profit margin as compared with the preceding quarter.

The Group's profit before tax in the current quarter at RM36.397 million as compared to the profit before tax of RM32.494 million in the corresponding quarter last year showed an increase of RM3.903 million. The overall uptrend in gold prices had improved the operating profits in the current quarter under review.

BAT no more stock market darling of yesteryears. In actual fact, it is considered a sunset industry.
Why it can give up to 95% dividend cover ratio? Clearly it is not going to spend anymore Capex.
No tangible asset, goodwill 411 million. Just having outdated machinery worth 65 million with lease liability 34 million. Total liabilities 801 million is more than total assets (less goodwill 411 million). That is to say, if company wind up today, you are not going to get a single sen.

Obviously it is not worth to wait for 10% dividend yield as you are getting paid through your own pocket. At 8.13, you can exchange for 3 Crescendo shares. Crescendo going to announce Q4 result by end of this month. Expecting it to declare not less than 20 sen per share. So for 3 Crescendo shares, you will get 60 sen dividend by August.

Crescendo going to announce Q4 result by end of this month. Predict it will make a total 20 sen from normal business operation after tax. Since there was no interim dividend paid, couple with extra ordinary gain from land disposal, there is no need to retain more cash then necessary. Expecting it to declare not less than 20 sen per share by end of the month.

Crescendo will open 1st trade at 2.81 at 2.30 pm. After that there will no turning back.

Crescendo will be among the top earners of the day. Friday will still continue its journey to the moon.

I have no doubt Crescendo will perform very much better than YTLP for short term at least, today included.

Volume need to build up gradually lah. When volume spike, share price already shoot up like rocket mah.

Crescendo will start moving at 11.30 am, by 4.30 pm it is up to the sky.


Start moving means it will need time to accelerate lah. Already up by 3 sen when the whole market is down. What more the actual show is in the afternoon around 4.30 pm.

Refueling mah. For long haul, need longer ground preparation.
